Terraformable Rocky

Yesterday I found a terraformable, rocky planet. Has anyone else seen these before? It was the moon of another terraformable so feels like it could be genuine, rather than a bug.

I haven't sold this yet, so when I do I'll find out the value.

As we discussed in-game, that is either a rare find(hopefully :) ) or a rare bug, would be nice to hear from others, and how much we would get when handed in.
Cmdr , can you keep a tab on this system when you sell it please, and tell me how much ?

never noticed one like that before, but will keep my eyes peeled.
Wether a bug or a fluke, that's a pretty unique find, congratulations CMDR :)

I've found one. I do have a snapshot of it somewhere as proof. When you find an icy planet that is a terraforming candidate, let us know, that seems to be the only one missing (apart from jovians and Ammonia Worlds).

These are quite rare as many moons are too small to be terraformable, the smallest one found has a radius of just over 3000km

Of course, its got an ELW in it and a couple of other terraformables, so I'd be watching it anyway. I may even try to do a top 5 systems by value in my next report.

I don't know about others but I don't scan many rocky/icy moons, so if they are as rare as an ELW I'd be missing loads.

and I just found another.

Are there any metal-rich terraformables? I don't think I've seen one, yet.

I have never seen a metal-rich (100% metal), rocky-ice or icy terraforming candidate. I'd be delighted to see system names and pics that show otherwise. :)
The temperature requirement for ordinary cft is about 214k to 315k blackbody. Mrw require over 1000k to form so it would be unlikely. Icy and rocky ice might be slightly more likely.

only currently 3 types of known terraformable planets, Water worlds, High Metal Content and Rocky

I have found a terraformable rocky planet orbiting an ELW. That system had also a terraformable water world and 2 terraformable high metals, everything that humanity could wish (location secret at the moment)
And also saw a terraformable rocky planet orbiting a terraformable high metal.

So not a bug for sure, but super rare.
