Thank you Frontier!

This is a letter to all the members of Frontier who contributed and still do in making Elite.

My friends bought me Elite Dangerous as a gift right before 1.2 dropped.I immediately fell in love with this game and started reading the forums and every wiki article I could find for this game.David Braben's interviews back then had me really excited about the future of Elite.I would discuss with my friends for hours about the many possibilities this game has to become something amazing, even more than it is now.I specifically remember reading a wiki article on the Anaconda and its ability to launch small vessels and thinking how awesome would it be to see that in game and pilot a small fighter.Today 2.2 came out and that fantasy came true.Launching with a fighter was kinda breathtaking.
But what I find trully amazing is the fact that with every update this game comes closer and closer to what we were told it was going to become.Back when I read the article on ship launched fighters from the Anaconda it felt so distant. But here we are, with ship launched fighters.
So, I really wanted to thank everyone at Frontier for making this dream a reality, slowly but steadily.

Have to agree :)
I might have the odd moan but overall I'm loving it and ship launched fighters are great fun and add a lot of atmosphere to the game, even the passenger missions are pretty cool.
Some balance still needs done (payouts are very low across the board at the moment), but respect on a job well done I'd say.

It's far from perfect. That's for sure. But it's a step to the right direction.Keep up the good work FD!!!

Well said, OP.
I am also loving every new update, not just for the ever-expanding possibilities and capacity for fun, but also because, like you said, I love seeing the game heading somewhere where we all want it to be, steadily. Not every developer can do that.
So it's nice to remind ourselves how lucky we are, from time to time. :)

Yeah, I agree with the op plus so far with 2.2 I've been particularly impressed with the npc's. They have been keeping me on my toes and mining now seems more dangerous and did that Cobra really launch from a Type-7???

I don't know, but my little fighter bought me and my shieldless keelback some valuable time to make a jump after pretty much        g out.

Haha Are you sure you saw a cobra launch from a type-7?The type-7 can't launch fighters, nor can a cobra be launched as a fighter.
