Has anyone seen any Thargoid Barnacles that are not already harvested within the bubble? All the sites that I have tried so far are already harvested.

Looking for Meta Alloys
I am wondering where I might find Meta Alloys. I really don't want to buy them but would like to get started engineering. I do mostly exploring so have no problem traveling to get them but need to start somewhere.

There are no Barnacles within the Bubble
How far out do I have to go?
The thargoid surface sites have meta alloys as well. One I was at had 8, most have 4 or 5. Just land near the center and do a loop, you can see the larger 'buds' on the little growths around the center area. There are barnacle and thargoid sites out around MAIA, so prob around 300-500ly?
WitchHead nebula, I'd say. And then, not in the colonized systems. They been farmed hard.

I picked up 26 so far from the place in the last post in Speedcuffs post. Had a nice interceptor come and visit as well, lovely
Others already gave good answers, here are my little additions:
- No need to go to Witch Head, last time I was there the barnacles were equally broken than the Pleiades ones.
- According to my research in the Pleiades, most barnacles, but not all, are broken. In some systems all barnacles are broken, others have a few healthy ones left.
- If all you want is a meta-alloy and want to find it without external help, a visit to a Thargoid Structure is probably the most efficient way. Besides, these structures look gorgeous If you bring a Thargoid sensor with you you can even go inside.
