Thargoid Bobblehead from Human Brokers

For those struggling to down a Thargoid; I think I read somewhere that they don't use thargon swarm if in orbit/planetside so try the near-surface encounters if you struggling.

Does destroying a Thargoid on planet surface spawn hearts for scooping? If they don't spawn swarms, what else do you have to watch out for apart from the lightning attacks after a heart is destroyed?
