You can get sensors from crash sites - common as muck

I'm in Delphi - Meggaships are pointless - totally broken - nothing in NHSS 7 so far....

I've put my carrier 'Bloody Nuts' in Delphi with a purchase order for probes - if anyone out there finds one that does not need it I will pay top price o7

Get in your AX build, go looking for interceptors in threat 5 signal sources, and there is a chance all you will see is a probe: that's how I found mine last week. (Just as well that ship build had cargo space for decontamination limpets.)

That's crazy, I've found at least 12 probes, and I've definitely not dropped into anywhere near enough NHSS 5's to get that.

Edit: - just looked at the sensor rate.... my experience is vastly superior in numbers to that 7.4% - I must have encountered.... 40 or 50.... and I've probly dropped into maybe 200 or so in my entire time playing?

They were much more frequent back when the NHSS 5 were not overcrowded with scouts. But still had to search a dozen ammonia worlds. The amount of grind involved today is beyond understanding.

According to Inara there's a FC selling 3 of them

Wow if you are so lucky pls find 12 probes for my researched, i pay 4M (max price) per ton.
And there are some other players that does the same with their FC.
You can become very rich with your luck ;)

I grabbed two Thargoid Probes last week, didn't take an hour.
The system I was in had an ammonium rich gas giant and was in the Pleiades and I needed to drop into three or four Threat 7 signal sources. One Probe was among some wreckage and shown as a canister, the other one floating free, but guarded by a Thargoid. Grabbed it with a limpet and bailed.
