Right just a quick idea. The thargoids attack another space port while they do they they release a virus which spreads to the refugees and as independent pilots rescue them it get spears around human occupied space, cause absolute mayhem.
I believe this is a viable option for thargoids as it is something we did to them when we released the mycoid virus on them.
