If you didn't go to Invasion systems, ignore most of the below. If you did ...
I'm guessing you went to these invasion systems -
- 70 Tauri
- HIP 116360
- HIP 20577
- Luggerates
Short answer, go to Hupang for ground ports or check
https://dcoh.watch for others.
Long Answer, when the invasion system hits 100%, the fighting stops, even if it's only been a few hours/days. It wasn't that way originally, but for whatever reason, FDEV changed it. And like many things in game, if you want the real info, it's usually easier to look outside the game. In this case
https://dcoh.watch and click on systems, then far right under features pick either the white crosshairs or the red crosshairs for ground ports in either invasion or non invasion systems. And yeah, AFAIK, in game, until you actually get to the system, it won't tell you to go elsewhere until the weekly tick changes the system status. There probably is someway to know in game but honestly, these days, if there is fighting, I find the systems everyone is going to on DCOH site, then pick the least progressed one; greater chance it's actually there and likely to remain that way for a few days. Do the opposite if you want to play in open/make more of a difference to the actual war and maybe click on the half circle arrowed icon for counterstrike systems. And of course, don't forget the forum thread
here.
Hope that helps, and that it's accurate. As I say, since they changed the 100% thing and all the sampling killed invasions for months, I just pick the least active/required/progressed on DCOH and pew pew there; works for me.
