Ships That diamondback though

Is it just me or does it look like the Diamondback's rear folds down slightly with the landing gear down. On the landed screenshot the engine appear to be facing downs slightly. On the in space screen shot the engines appear in line with the body.
 
So, why haven't you reported it to get it merged?
If you're going to take a shot at me, it's only fair I take a shot back ....

I shouldn't have to report the thread ... a good moderator should have been in here straight away and merged the thread before anyone was able to comment like I did

Was hoping for 4 class 2 mounts so probably just stick with the vulture as it will easily outgun this ship.

I admit, I was hoping for the same, more or less. I'm a little confused as to what this thing would really bring to the table if 2med/2small is what it pans out to be. That wouldn't make it the "combat explorer" because the Asp would already outgun it, and the Cobra would already match it. If it matches the T6 for cargo capacity it'd be more of a "combat freighter", but again really brings nothing to the table that the Asp isn't trumping, and if it doesn't use Asp level cost modules, that means it'll be using cobra level cost modules, which again doesn't leave it much of a niche.

I do like the utilitarian look of it, so if it is statistically little more than cobra level I'll still pick one up and tinker with it, but I admit that my personal hope for it was to put away the asp for multi role stuff and even if it was a slight step backward in firepower from the vulture, put that away for combat duties----in other words, a 10 million credit level multi-role ship(medium hull, but more or at least different firepower than an asp is what I'm suggesting there) is what I'd wanted for myself, personally.

it has the size of a hauler (tiny bigger)

now if you take away the huge reactors, the huge wings, the cockpit, the hardpoints, and the modules, how much cargo you really think they will be left ? almost none

i'm so disappointed... i'm waiting for a medium multi-role more combat oriented since beta, looks like i can wait months more (if not years)
