I kinda want to say this is going to be in the Python territory...
5 Hardpoints?
Two small on top.
Three Mediums on bottom
Well whatever it is, i hope i can afford it when it drops. I still like the Python more because its dark and gritty.... and the cockpit wont blind me.
Am I the only one who doesn't like it? From prior games it was a long thin model, I really like this concept image;

Can we have that instead.

So does anyone have an idea of time scale this model would be added? A month? Longer?
Why move the cockpit to the front? What I like about that design is precisely the fact that it has (small) wings and that the cockpit is at the center like in Star Wars fighters. And I sure hope the pilot sits in the middle, I hate sitting on the side, it's a combat ship not a family vessel for goodness' sake!

Cockpit could be at the center (I like it in front) but Fer de lance is not a combat ship.

A Zorgon Petterson Group (Zee Pee Gee) designed vessel favoured by well-heeled bounty hunters and freewheeling business corporations. A sophisticated craft, capable of both limited trading, combat and leisure function. The spacious hull is mainly given over to sophisticated weaponry, defences and navigation equipment at the expense of cargo capacity. Cabin accommodation is large and luxurious with extensive Owndirt Inc. recycling facilities, encouraging extended live-in periods (useful whilst pursuing a quarry). Fuel scoop is a standard fitting, ensuring complete self-sufficiency. | |

Here's the orginal description of it,

I agree. The FDL in my head has always been married to the 84 description: an over the top expensive bounty hunter vessel. Unless you're really rich (hence, the corp execs) or really good at bounty hunting, this craft is not affordable. IIRC the Dark Wheel novella even mentions a FDL in combat, I think Alex was contemplating that the FDL might not have an operational ECM because of the operational cost of the FDL.Here's the orginal description of it,
