Hello CMDR Unifex,

Congratulations on making it to the Deep Space Challenge list!
Cheers. :) I didn't think that was a thing these days? The initial description I found suggested distances based on unmodded and jumponium free trips. This definitely wasn't a jumponium free trip. :)
And no, it is not a record - but I think you already know that :).
Suspected as much. :) Looking at the spreadsheet though, I'm +1Ly on the max listed there.
The distance that counts is the distance between the system you want to record and Sol (i.e. the distance as shown on the galaxy map).
Hmm... So the current max on the spreadsheet isn't at Semotus Beacon? EDSM lists that as the furthest you can reach at the moment.
We need the picture with both your commander name and Sol targeted to verify that it is you actually being this far from Sol and not a random galaxy map picture downloaded from the internet...
Yep. :) See the 3rd image in the spoiler fold on my updated entry.
Usually I am quite relaxed about the provided proof, as I don't have to sleep with your conscience :), but when it comes to breaking records you just have to provide the proper pictures.

You're barking mad for having Quite the achievement though, having flown this far in-system; you make flying to Hutton Orbital look like a walk in the park ;).

I think you had it right the first time. :) This jaunt was my second longest though. First longest was just over 4 Ly heading for the Crab Pulsar.

So in my haste, I forgot to take a screenshot showing distance to Sol, so hopefully these will suffice.

Hello fellow explorers! Wasn't aware of the thread until a friend told me about it!
Cmdr Name: Dudge v2 (XB1)
Date: Arrived 5th August 3303
Ship: ASP Explorer
Distance from Sol: 65,428.39 (see galaxy map pic, didn't realise it didn't have my cmdr name so took another not as far out with my cmdr name on it - you'll see the credit balance matches though!)
Additional info: This trip was part of the Deep Recon X (DRX) Spring Break event where commanders had the option of finishing at Beagle Point.

Here's my submission, having finally dragged myself to the far end of the galaxy as I didn't think I'd ever take the time required to do that after the Thargoids arrive. As far as I know, I'm the first one to have made it all the way out to Oevasy SG-Y d0 in a Gutamaya ship: an Imperial Courier, to be precise.
I left Jaques on Monday (Aug. 7). I did go from the old bubble before, but I suffered an accident at a neutron star (entirely my fault) at 25k ly from my destination, which made me give up at first - but a few days later, I decided to go back and try to reach it before Sunday. With that in mind, I think I made a decent time.

The info requested:
