I am also having trouble with AI interdictions. I don't mind getting interdicted, as its definitely a much needed part of the game but it would be great and make sense if the a.i. had the same limitations that we have.
For example: I was doing slave runs in my weaponless type 7
- spawned into new system get message in chat from an Ian Fairbrother who apparently was waiting for this load, as he wrote "You have something that I want"
- Ian comes around and engages the interdiction. I submit, then quickly readjust my course and supercruise out.
- While in supercruise going full speed towards the station, a light appears in front of me, and again a message in chat from Ian Fairbrother who just wants my cargo. (note this is literally 4 seconds after coming back into supercruise after submitting to his last interdiction and getting away as fast as my FSD would charge. I know for a fact his drive would still be cooling down and he would not be able to spawn between me and the station because he was left behind when I supercruised out.
- Long story short Ian interdicts me again. Quick on my throttle I submit to the interdiction again, and as soon as my FSD was ready I was out of there again back on my way to the station to sell my goods.
- Then 4 seconds later in supercruise a Ian Fairbrother in the same imperial clipper as before, appears again between me and the station, and again threatens me in the chat regarding my cargo. (note again his FSD would not be cooled off from the previous interdiction and he would not be able to come between the station and me.
- Long story short this type of encounter happens way too much, and again interdictions are fine as long as its fair. Can you please make a level playing field between the a.i. and us please. The way this game is designed is to be a huge grind which is fine as long as the a.i. are playing fair but this is ridiculous.
