Eh? I see an Asp on the list. Asp Explorer was my favourite ship as well just because I loved the landing struts and its size was perfect.
It looks like the devs are really serious about this Space Liner idea. Seemingly adding another 2 larger classes of liner to the mix. Personally I am quite intrigued and glad to see this. Something new to improve gameplay is always welcome. And the Imperial Liner I'm sure will be something of sheer opulence and grandeur!

Hope if the liners are very successful, that for future installments, they consider my ideas about medical cabins and integrate them into multi-tiered medical vessels, ranging from ambulance ships to fully fledged hospital liners. The possibilities would become near endless.
It was one of my favourites as well. I am looking forward to flying it more than I am in flying the Cobra MKIII which is probably the ship that most people old enough to have played the original game on the BBC Micro most associate with Elite.
But is it the small asp from the original elite or is it the asp explorer from frontier which is much bigger?
2 totally different craft.
Perhaps, it is the ASP of FE2 ? Larger than the Cobra MK III

I think all Elite, Frontier and First Encounter ship should eventually be introduced to the game. There are many good ideas from Oolite to. The Krait and Gecko should be in the game. As they are good alternatives to a cheap pirate vessel along with the sidewinder. What about the Boa? Will we see it introduced again. It would make a fine addition to the larger hulks who will travel trading between systems. Can even be used as pirate command ships or corporate flag ships. Panther Clipper and Anaconda are in the game. Why not spice up the heavy cargo ships with the Python and the Boa

In Frontier I defected to the Empire solely to get my hands on a Imperial Courier. I have no intention of going back to the Federation in Elite Dangerous.
