Better vertical thrusters than the AspX, 45 Ly range with a guardian FSD booster + engineering, slots for SRVs, hardpoints for mines and missiles, nimble, two seats, 400m/s+ boost speed ... I'm really enjoying the Asp Scout for planet-side stuff, including exobio scanning and settlement missions.
I've used my DBX a lot for this kind of work, but the lack of a second seat can be a drawback. The AspX has good range but lousy maneouverability.
I like the scout.
ETA: I love the mamba for ground work too because whooooosh. But the range and fuel usage is insane.
