I gotta say, I have a soft spot for all of the signs "designs", but they hardly fit everywhere. Especially the animal shape signs - I would love to have these in all available styles, but I know it'd be alot of work. For example - the australian Dingo-shape and Kangaroo-shape signs - I would love to have these style for all animals. And the plain white shapes from the basegame for all animals too. So you're not restricted and have all options for every zoo theme you'd like. That'd be awesome.
I think it's fair to say thanks to Frontier because the signs from the three packs released this year are quite consistent in style. Plus we can now use the red deer sign too! I hope we continue this trend and get signs for animals who have none too.

What are those really small ones next to the Capybara Signs? Looks like some kind of Mammal. Baby Capybara?There are signs for capybara babies, and the very small ones below the capybaras are snails.
Things are getting a little better but it's still a mess.
We have: somewhat realistic headshot signs; very stylized headshot designs of varying nature, a few somewhat realistic full body signs, more cartoony, quasi realistic full body signs (like the North American animals) and very stylized designs with Europe. And don't get me started on the smaller "picture" signs like with the Arctic, Australia, and Asian animals. There's neat, but it's still just a handful of animals.
The biggest problem here is that, aside from the silhouettes, there's not that many signs that fit into the same type of style. i know it's more work but I've never understood why, even in the base game, there was not one set for quite a few animals. Even there, each region had its own style. Which is fine on its own but there's no cohesive thought to it.
I do like that as least as mentioned, there seems to be more of a thought towards cohesion. The Wetlands, Aquatic, Conservation and Twilight packs, as well as a few of the base game animals, have designs that are close enough to count, and the ones I'm most likely to use at this point. The North American animal art is almost there, but it's just a bit too cartoony and stands out. The most we have for the silhouettes is about 26 different animals represented if I'm counting from the game files right (noted that as unless I'm missing it, the Giraffe silhouette is not on the picture in your post) Given we've gotten 141 animals, that's not that great to be honest. What could help here is taking all those realistic and quasi realistic fully body signs and somehow turning them into silhouettes.
I appreciate that Frontier has put effort in to making sure that different regions and building styles also have unique themes for the animal art, but there seems like there was little vision in also making it so that art could also be used as a singular vision throughout the entire zoo. That would give us at least 20 more animals to add to that style.

Those are my favorite Animal Signs. I hope we will get more of those. I wish we would have those for every Animal in the Game

Hard agree with this one! I fully appreciate the stylized, themed signage for many of the packs. But I can't help but wish we also had the simple, realistic "water color"-type signs and the white silhouettes for every animal in the game.
The overly-themed pieces make it hard to mix and match. The base game North American animal signs are different than the ones we got in the NA DLC, the giant otter sign is completely different from the other SA signage, etc.
If I'm being real, I think it's a bit late in the process to be asking for this sort of thing but... Definitely feedback worth raising for future DLC even if they can't go back and retro-fix everything.

And they already listened. The last 3 DLCs were very consistent. The problem is with the 6 old DLCs that don't follow the new convention.

The sign that says Croc Creek (pic below), makes me think that they at least considered implementing new scenery pieces for base game animals fitting the theme of the DLCs. Doing it that way has always seemed logical to me.

I agree. It's great news. Too bad statues don't get the same treatment
After the Twilight Pack, I made a small shack-like house that has skunks in one wall and a secondary viewing for red foxes in another. I threw bullfrogs in the other wall because nothing else would really fit the vibe. Last night, I moved the bullfrogs to the center of the floor and put an armadillo in the last well. Went to put signage for all four species on the outside of the shack, and... oh, that's right, the bullfrog is stuck with that goofy mismatched style while the other three match perfectly. Ugh.
