The Black Hole in the Wall

*Shoves armfuls of sheets and starcharts back into storage locker*

" 'Guess the cataloging can wait"

*shrugs*

"There wasn't much interesting around here to log anyways but dead stars and ice balls. Back to money makin' then."

*Lucifer walks out of the backroom*

Neeeevermind. Apparently this was all part of a clever ploy on the Dukes part. Dynamic Commodities dropped their guard and the Dukes acquired some more holdings.

Back at 'em men! :D

Hey guys,

reporting of for a scouting mission at the outer rim near Mikunn, checking stations and commodoties and add them to the trading tool.

Tomorrow I will leave Mikunn and head to Austria, Earth (SOL) to go snowboarding. Ill be back 7.2.3301

Long live Mikunn!

Don't forget permit. While in Sol, should try low gravity half-pipes on Olympus Mons. I would, but winter sports and tiny red Speedo not compatible. Ask my cousin, Zangief! Hahahah!

Walking in to the bar I was perhaps a little apprehensive, but the drinks are free and there's a ruggedly handsome bloke in a red speedo that somehow manages to not only pull the look off, but make it look easy. I think I'm gonna like this place.

Barkeep, a whisky please, single malt and skip the ice.

*stumbels in*
We are in the fracking emergency transmission in Galnet? Holy spaceballs!
OI! Barkeep, handover one of them sparkling drink thingies, no umbrella this time please?

*A HoloCom Disk sits at the edge of the bar by the Galnet news screen, a curious CMDR presses play and small holographic rendetion of a familiar CMDR springs to life with the following message*

"Hey Mercs CMDR Beauseant here, headed out to Sol to infiltrate the Feds. See if I could get any Intel or learn any tactics useful for the takeover job in HR. So far things are going good. They've promoted me to Warent Officer in the Navel Volonteers and got me a sweet deal on a refabed ASP unfortunately there were some issues with the credit transfer and most of my creds are held up while the pencil pushers figure out where where they put that extra zero at the end of my account. Got to keep the ship tho. So for the moment I'm going to do some pick up work and pick some easy bounties here in Sol until I can kit this ship out and have a decent FSD installed to make the trek back. I've been invited to a logistics meeting I think might be useful to our job. After that's taken care of I'll head back post haste. Just do me a favor. Don't have all the fun without me."

*A pink and sparkly drink slides across the counter to Gnu. Two umbrellas stick out of the drink.*

*A transmission comes in from Lucifer's ship over the intercoms*

"Congratulations all! We are now the majority faction in HR 7327! Onward to the shipyards!

*Lucifer Wolfgang, Calomiriel, and Monte Fisto head to one of the bars back rooms, toting various intelligence reports through the door. Several hours later Lucifer emerges*

"Listen up pilots! A second series of blockades in HR 7327 is set to commence. The Commanders organizing the operation are Calomiriel and Monte Fisto. If you would like to participate contact them.

*Lucifer walks over to the board and smacks a new bulletin on it. It reads:*

Action: Perform a series of blockades on stations of Operation Lead's choosing.

Ultimate Goal: Incite civil war between two factions in HR 7327

Operation Leaders: Op Leads are Calomiriel and Monte Fisto. Op Lead will Terminate upon completion of Ultimate Goal.

"The Dynamic Commodity goons wont know what hit them!"

*No one seems to notice a shadowy figure sitting on a small stool in the corner of the bar*
*When someone does notice, they wonder when such an imposing figure slipped past them without being noticed or even who they are*
*With a slight rustle the figure stands up and calls to the Bartender*
"Bartender! I'll have a drink; the choice of drink is up to you."
*He then sits back down onto his stool; however a badge is now visible on his cloak and reads*
"CMDR Celok"

*faint crackling over the intercomm* Evening, gents *pauses* and any gals crazy enough to be here.
Got a quick question for you rabble, I've been doing some off the grid work in Empire space and I was curious if their Imperial Information Clerk has gotten so interested in you he's stuffed many love letters into your mailbox, all titled "Imperial Summons?"
Just wondering if it's just me that's caught the attention of a wierdo... *static as mic cuts off*

[TL: DR - Is anyone showing multiple *unable to pick up or finish* Imperial summons missions on the bulletin board and not able to get the subsequent rank up missions either. Forums have been coming up dry elsewhere.]

Cmdr Telakin comes in, five hyperprints in hand.

"Look what I just stumbled across - right outside Gabriel station in an USS. A convoy of ASPs led by some guy Arnulf Hengist. First I thought it had to do with the Empire, but that's Hengist Duval - unless they have some weird first name / surname thing going on."

"Still weirder - the ASP convoy was made up out off Mikunn and HR 7327 Future Ships, too bad I forgot to check for the associaton of that Hengist guy. No one answered my hails or approached me, then they all jumped out."

"Wonder what they were up to and if it was in our all interest ... "

Sits down and passes the hyperprints around.

Oh, rumor is, Dukes and Law Party in silent war. We should be intensify blockade and run Dukes missions from HR 7327...after I finish root beer.

Soda hears rumors wrong. Not yet at war, but civil war is near. Must have misheard during root beer fueled stupor.

Bartender, turn up music! Wednesday is Old School Mech Pilot Rap day...
