IT'S PARECO TIME (Posting this real early because of ECM)!! This is one of my favourite races from all of Elite Dangerous Racing and I felt like it would be criminal for me to not bring it back for a third time given how popular it was last year! Also after the madness that was the last race lets have a little palate cleanser and keep it nice and simple!

Race Information
Start Date
: 0001UTC on Saturday 26th August 3309
End Date: 2359UTC on Sunday 3rd September 3309
Classes:
Unlimited: You can run in any small or medium ship that you like with as much or as little engineering as you would like
Regulation Cobra: You must use the regulation cobra build for this championship as per this coriolis link.
Course: The course takes place around the circuit of 6 stations in the Pareco system, and in a stark twist to last years format, we're running them in reverse... again! So the original way round I guess?
Neville Ring >>> Phillips Market >>> Webb Station >>> Asire Dock >>> Crown Orbital >>> Garden Ring >>> Neville Ring >>> (Continue Loop)

RUNNING THE RACE

  1. To begin the race, get your ship on the landing pad at Neville Ring, rotated for departure and ready to launch.
Note: Competitors in the Regulation Cobra MKIII class should take one or more screenshots of their modules (or show them on video) JUST PRIOR to starting the race to prove they have the correct loadout. Make sure the clock is visible.
  2. Wait for a suitable time on the station services clock, and take an in-cockpit screenshot with the clock clearly visible.
  3. LAUNCH!!!
  4. Now, fly to and land at each of the other stations around the Pareco ring in the following order:
Neville Ring >>> Phillips Market >>> Webb Station >>> Asire Dock >>> Crown Orbital >>> Garden Ring >>> Neville Ring >>> (Continue Loop)
  5. Take another screenshot each time you land (making sure the clock is clearly visible in each one).
  6. Keep going around this circuit (in the given order) until 20 minutes have elapsed.
  7. When your 20 minutes are up, continue on to a final landing at whichever station is next.
  8. Take a last and final screenshot when the station services menu appears.

Submitting your Run

Once you have your set of screenshots/video (preferably with timestamps), upload them to somewhere that I'll be able to see them and then complete the following form to complete your submission to the race:

SUBMIT YOUR RUN

The winner will be the person who makes the largest number of stops around the circuit in the allotted time, and, as a tie breaker for commanders making the same number of stops, the one with the lowest elapsed time over the 20 minutes to their final screenshot.

Good luck CMDRs!

Intent to race:
Regulation Cobra MkIII: Null Geodesic.
Unlimited: Imperial Eagle Toya and possibly more.
Toya means 'straight arrow' in Japanese however, given the build I am going to use, I should probably look up the Japanese for 'the splat that a lump of plasticene makes when thrown against the wall, supersonically'.

I think I'm gonna take a look at that system to understand what I intend to get myself into before I decide if I take part.
If I take part, it will be in the unlimited class only, as I'm in the process of building and engineering two medium ships and have not really any interest to build another - and the ship I'm contemplating to use should work fine.

The ship is named "Champion".
Though I doubt it will fulfil the premise of its name, yet. I'm a rookie, after all, still learning the ways of flying unassisted, one step at a time.
