The bugs that destroys the exploring (and also to find Raxxla)

Yes... but As I said in another thread its not all systems that responds with "System complete scan" when done everything in the FSS (might be a bug or it might not be)

oh, i did not see that other thread. but maybe you are right and this is the road to some secrets!

i know that you want to find the secret for yourself, but if you want to know if its really a bug maybe post the system here.

i'm sure a day after that you have at least 5 cmdrs turning every stone in that system.

oh and another question:
  • the top right corner shows 49/52 system bodies or so. is that complete?
  • sometimes bodies are "behind the sun" and you have to move a bit to scan the rest

If it shows 49 of 52 then the scan isn't complete, I have never had a system that I couldn't find all the bodies, and never had a system when after finding all the bodies it didn't say "system complete",, where is this other thread, why isn't it linked? I can't find it, but I can only say, the system has not been fully scanned which is why you aren't getting the "system complete" message.

yes, but chill.

just maybe he is on to something. do generation ships show up on the FSS? it would be totally FD to have a 52/52 scanned system and some little oddity indication, that further analysis is needed.

The Honk doesn't show stations or generation ships, USS or POI as bodies, if it says 52 then there are 52 stars/planets/moons, no more, no less. Anything else, including asteroid clusters, show up as signals in the Honk, and signals in the FSS.

some little oddity indication

Yes, these are called signals in the Honk and FSS, they show USS, POI, NSP, ships, stations, Fleet Carriers and other unidentified objects that are detected during the initial honk. Alien surface sites, biology and geology show up when you FSS the planets and moons.

There's no chill here, this is how it works, this is how it has always worked, if it says 49 of 52 bodies then he has missed 3 bodies, planets or moons that are out of the orbital plane and difficult to spot without doing a proper scan of the surrounding space using the FSS. If there are bodies I can't find I center the FSS on the primary star, just in case it's hiding behind the star, always check that, then from the star with the FSS focused on the line in the signal do a full sweep up/down, if you don't spot it then do a full sweep left/right, then both diagonals, this will always suffice to show the missing bodies.

Bodies are only 3 things, stars, planets and moons, that's it, that's all.

There are areas within the FSS scan bar for USS / NHSS and other 'signal sources' (Including FC's) which are included in the Signals count, but the 'bodies' are literally just that, and the POI's from bodies are indicated on the FSS scan to indicate if further investigation is worth it.

Raxxla is still an enigma, at least until it is found ;)
