Ah Lady Turner, it is ironic that we would have considered granting you a more distant expansion system without the need for this war. However my patience wears thin as does my willingness to grant you this concession, let it not be said that we have not granted you the most generous concessions possible in the past...

Think on your actions, and the future of your people. The Armada Truce guarantees the safety of all systems officially claimed by expansion. I am sure your mighty clan is more than capable of securing and maintaing your communist Empire via the expansion system as all other factions do.

The alternative, Lady Turner, is shall we say somewhat unpleasant and ultimately there is little you can do to stop us, it is a shame that the arrogance of the Border coalition prevents you from realising this...

We have expanded to 14 systems quite easily, is it not plain that help is neither needed nor requested. As for the war, it was declared after Communism Interstellar entered one of our expanded systems and carried out military actions there, hence breaking the Armada Truce. They were given every opportunity to withdraw and ignored it. What did you expect us to do commander, sit back and turn a blind eye to blatant attacks on our systems?

War can be a glorious thing, I am sure you will come to enjoy it in time... Our offer to reinstate the Armada Truce still stands, all you need do is withdraw from our systems.

Didn't you tore the old agreement, put it in a space bin and then wrote a new one that you decided is replacing the old agreement, however nobody apart from you have actually signed this new agreement? I'm pretty sure that was the case...

1. DA announce a purge on independent player factions

2. DA choose to be inserted into a multi-expanded system that was home to a comrade (and would be a BC member in their own right by now)

3. After much discussion, a treaty was jointly signed in which we agreed terms that protected some of the investment made by the same comrade for months before the DA picked his home system as their base.

4. DA decide that they no longer want to honour the bi-lateral peace treaty and admit to breaching its terms before they withdrew from the peace deal.

5. DA write a new treaty but no one else signs it.

6. DA then declare war over an infringement of an unsigned treaty.

Mysteron always picks a fight with a neighbour whenever he is bored or has faltering resource levels.

Is DA doing something else than making propaganta materials on FD forum ?

We searched for them a few hours yesterday, and nothing. I think a Mysteron is on FD forum (doing a promo) and everyone else (two other DA players) just dropped it.

Mysteron, I think you have a weird idea what an "Imperial" Slave is. What you describe are common slaves and puts you on the same level as anarchists... and shames the empire.

Nah, he's just being honest about how Imperial slavery really works. Someone else decided they owed debts (in this case, probably they were fined for Imperial property damaged and the lost work hours spent fighting the war) and slavery was the option other than utter destitution - not really a choice at all from their perspective. If the Empire is ashamed, it's just because the vast gulf between what they'd have you believe their slavery is and what is actually practiced is just more obvious here than usual.

There are all types in the Armada, Gemai. I've never had a slave on any of my ships, ever.

We are pleased to announce that one of the outposts in the DA capital has been turned communist. The local imperial slaves have been set free. We have no interest in holding the main station. The new facility is CI's diplomatic observation outpost to track DA and make sure that they live up to their treaties!
