The dark armada

Hiya,

You seem to have the best add in this forum, for someone like me.

First my history....

So, by day I worked in the quality control department, for the bauxite extraction division, at Baker's Prospect, in the Asellus Primus system. By night, I was a gambler at the local club.

There was a barmaid there, which took a fancy to me, and one night, after much partying - I found out that she was the girlfriend of one of the bosses from the reigning Purple Crew faction. Worse than that, it seems that he was aware of me, and had placed a price on my head.

So, I packed my things, went to the star port, and stole a sidewinder off a launchpad. I made my way to the fringes of the inhabited bubble, changed my name, and quietly started a new life.

That was about 4 months ago...

Since then, I've made my life from becoming a scrounger, delivery specialist, blockade runner, courier, discoverer, and sometimes a mercenary.

I like keeping a low profile, and working from behind a veil of obscurity.

I find that I'm hassled less often in Empire controlled space, as compared to the Federation or the Alliance. So I hang out in Empire controlled systems more often, and have become an ally to this major galactic faction. On last week's community goal, I was in the top 10% for providing metal alloys to build the capitol ship at Sagan Port, in the Mundjiga system.

I enjoy systems under Feudal governance the most, and have gone out of my way quite often to help out minor feudal factions sprinkled at the edges of the bubble.

I have a garage not far from Achenar, which holds my current ship fleet; 2x Cobra Mk IIIs, an Asp Explorer, 3x Python's, an Anaconda, and an Imperial Eagle (which I use to cruise and chill). I have the resources to paint all the ships black, if necessary, except for the Imperial Eagle, which no outfitting yard seems to want to paint this type of craft.

If you run a scan on me, you'll likely find some unpaid fines, bounties, whatnot, in a few systems. But that's really not cause I'm a bad guy, it's my lawyer - he can't win or argue any case for the life of me. But I keep him on retainers any ways, cause we went to grade school together.

So, I'm looking for a home and a purpose, and happened across your advertisement here. I thought about it for a while, then went to Scythians, like your daily mission asks, and did 32 missions for your faction out of there (divided by the two outposts and the planetary base). You are now ahead in popularity with the faction you're at war with and your state is now in economic boom. I didn't do any assassination missions, because I don't like killing unless absolutely necessary, nor did I pick up any mining missions, because I didn't feel like converting one of my ships to be a miner.

I don't do facebook, nor have the intention of ever doing so. Therefore, if you'd be interested in conversing with me, and getting to know each other a bit, you'll have to give me a link to your group's forums, or the address to your teamspeak server. You can send me a private message, if you don't want to post it publicly, of course.

Thanks for your time.

And by the way... I only smile in the dark.

This is the voice of Mysteron...

I see in you the potential to become a deadly void rogue in the service of the unbreakable Empire. Those who join our dark ranks must learn the ways of deception and darkness. The Dark Armada will not become a major power, this is because we already are... Help us spread our dark influence as we grow to dominate this sector...

Your dark dislike of Facebook is understandable... Those who shun the mighty galactic social network may join us in our DARK DISCORD channels, I shall send you an invite by dark messenger...

May you rise in darkness...

-From the Dark Dictionary-

CLAIMED SYSTEM: A star system that contains the official faction of a galactic group.

UNCLAIMED SYSTEM: A star system that does not contain the official faction of a galactic group.

This is the voice of Mysteron…

Do you hear me Manites? Do you still spread your primitive communist ideals throughout the galaxy, mind-washing one systems after another, displacing Imperial systems with your antiquated ideology and claiming them as your own...

Mighty Mikunites I speak to you also, but I am sure you will find our proposal dark and fair. After all, soon you will begin your grand power bid and you shall need as much support as you can get, and as little opposition...

I have grave news for you oh mighty Manites, darkness is coming and with it the sublime pleasures of conflict and chaos that reigns in the infinite void...

But do not fear, my dear communist rogues. It is not war that I bring, that is your choice, I bring dark change only.

A long time ago, when The Dark Armada revealed itself we bargained with you and granted a truce. However you fed greedily at the galactic bargaining table and we made many generous concessions to spare you and your allies infinite wrath...

You claimed as your own, any system that contained any communist faction and forbade any incursion therein, how convenient and how easy. If only all factions could simply claim ownership of systems in this manner. Now the time of convenience is over and a new age of darkness shall rise and we shall all revel its glory.

As of this moment we shall respect the status of any system that contains your OFFICIAL faction, "The Workers of Manite Labour Union". Any system where your OFFICIAL faction is present or in control will be designated CLAIMED and will not be attacked or influenced by the Dark Armada and we expect you will offer us the same courtesy.

Any UNCLAIMED systems are now fair game. Any combat actions between local groups in unclaimed systems will not be considered an act of war. All unclaimed systems are designated DARK ZONES where combat may take place freely without triggering full scale war.

This is the way of galactic power play. One rule for all, and fair game for all...

However if one single step is taken across the borders of our officially controlled or expanded systems then never ending wrath will be unleashed on an unimaginable and eternally dark scale. Both you and your allies will suffer the eternal curse of The Dark Armada should you choose the path of war. Do not think we will bow down as easily as the Archons. The Disciples of Darkness are watching and waiting. If you decide to retaliate over this perfectly fair deal then both you and all your allies will risk mutual annihilation in the form of complete and overwhelming retreat of your factions from all systems.

Do not worry yourself with pointless and ridiculous demands for they will not be met. Our proposition is fair and reasonable. We will not standby and suppress our own expansion while you spread yourselves unopposed. Know this Manites, we are not asking for your permission, we are informing you of the new and fair state of play that is about to be initiated.

We are not abandoning the deal, we are altering it. Pray that we do not alter it any further.

You have had time to grow strong, as have we. Now let us face each other across the unbearably dark sea of infinite chaos in a manner that befits a void rogue...

May you find death and glory in the void...

And Finally...

This is the voice of Mysteron...

This is a little gift from me to you Lord Lucifer, for I know that you are watching. Just so you don't feel left out.

A long time ago in a system far far away, you and your rabble of miners took something from me, something precious... Your little coup in HR 7327 has not been forgotten. I ruled that system long before your rusty convoy turned up and now I rule it once more as I have always intended to. If you want me, come and get me, once more I sit upon the throne of HIRAGA GATEWAY...

Greetings from the nightmarishly horrifying depths of the infinite abyss…

My dark thanks for your predictable response my dear misguided Manites. I’m sure you will find my message equally predictable.

Let me be very, very clear… We are not at war, we are not declaring war, we are not breaking your precious deal, we are ending it. If we wanted to break it, we would not have informed you.

We in The Dark Armada also maintain Imperial protectorates, however we have not expanded to them and so we do not prohibit access to them.

As I have already stated, from this moment on all unclaimed systems are now fair game. You may support and battle in any unclaimed system you wish and we shall do the same. Attack Imperial systems if you wish and convert them to your antiquated ideology as you have already done before. Perhaps we will oppose you, perhaps not. Any battles between our forces in theses unclaimed systems will not result in war, merely enjoyable carnage and dark drama.

The sooner you accept this state of play the better for all.

And now let us proceed to the darkest business of all. You may wish to take military action in response to this new development. As I have stated before if war is coming, it is you the Manites who will trigger it, not The Dark Armada.

All your officially expanded, systems are safe from any expansion or attack by our dark order.

I feel it is my dark duty to now inform you of the consequences of any military action taken against us.

If there is even the slightest sign of any attack on the influence of The Dark Armada within our officially expanded systems then we will without hesitation attribute such meddling directly to the faction of Communism Interstellar.

Furthermore we will treat even the merest hint of military action as an act of war.

The curse of The Dark Armada hangs over you, suspended by the thinest of threads. The choice to cut that thread lies in your communist hands, and not in ours.

If the curse falls, it will not be easily lifted. We will proceed directly to your territory and instigate system-wide dark states across your entire faction. This is stage 1 and will be completed with ease in a matter of hours with barely half a wing.

Stage 2 will entail the constant implementation of dark states including retreat states on a weekly basis. This will also be achieved easily and efficiently.

Stage 3 will entail repeating stage 1 and state 2 for a very, very, very long time or until your faction has either been shrivelled to an insignificant shadow of itself or completely obliterated. I am sure you or your chosen ally will do the same to us. You just have to ask yourself one question, which of us cares more? If you deem this new state important enough to risk comprehensive and devastating mutual annihilation then perhaps you would gain my respect for choosing such a dark path.

If at any time we suspect that your allies are participating in attacks on the Dark Armada we will implement the curse on them also. But only after we have finished with you.

And one more thing my dear Manites. You claim to set Empire against Empire? You think that the Empire will side against itself in favour of a communist faction that has already fouled several Imperial systems all for the sake of a petty dispute over a bad deal. Feel free. Whoever attacks us it will be the Manites who suffer.

I will state again clearly your choice, if by some chance you have not absorbed it fully. The Dark Armada is not threatening war or attack on your expanded systems. But if it is war you want then you know what you must do.

Tread carefully my dear Manites, we are watching our systems very closely and we have already observed irregularities. May you find death and glory in the void.

The safe word is WRATH...

Just a little trouble with the local communist group, they have had things very easy for a long time. Now the time of easiness is drawing to a close and they shall feel the fear in the darkest depths of the void...

The RP is strong here, whats the safeword?
