They will see the problem when they get there bigger ships.

I don't understand why people would vote No. It doesn't impact the gameplay in any way. To be able to get a wider view for some stunning screenshots would become a great thing. People share the shots, which is basically free advertising for the game. Tell me how this is bad? The external camera is an option, no one is forced to use it.
This is the argument of a clear thinking person. No voters and FD couldn't make these connections.
I voted yes, because, why not? There is no apparent drawback.
However, I would also like the remote controlled drone idea very much. It would be logical to carry around for other purposes than screenshots too, like sending a little flying camera into canyons you don't want to drive down in the SRV or risk your ship. It would be great as a little scout, even better if it can be launched from the SRV.
