The Diamondback Explorer broke my immersion!

Yesterday I decided to try out my (relatively) new and (finally) A-Graded Diamondback Explorer and go on a long voyage of discovery.
Unfortunately, I forgot to bring a book with me, so I started reading everything I could find. It wasn't long before I noticed the text in yellow near the top of my FOV:

Let's take a closer look at that text, shall we?

I mean, even if we ignore the fact that the first address is impossible, am I really expected to believe that IPv4 is still in use in the 34th Century?
Seriously?

How do you know it is an IP? Especially, as you say, the first IP address is impossible. Maybe it is something that just looks a bit like it?

Just be glad this isn't that thread wherein someone believed their actual IP was being placed there.

First of all that's a version number, not an IP (probably). Second, if a nearly unreadable text can break your immersion while completely obvious logic flaws don't, then you have a completely different issue that has nothing to do with any game. ;)

So that's what it says. Even at 1080p I find the text too indistinct to be able to read properly.

It would be more believable if it was a tweet about ongoing discussions with regards to Greek debt in 3301. Maybe with a witty hashtag along the lines of #GrargoscoopDeployed or #GrockingRequestGranted
