The difficulty in the JP Chaos Theory scenario needs to be toned down

Can only speak from my own experiance, but please no to the easier money making...I recently finished all the challenges on jurassic and even on the last map which is definitely the hardest to make a profit on I ended up with 600k+ profit per minute and over 50mil in the bank, so it's not too hard at all to make money. Especially on the lower difficulites it's just as easy to make profit if not easier than in the first game when your amenities are set up right.

I also don't mind some expeditions being that expensive, they're supposed to be big hitters and stars for the late game when you already got a decent income and profit going to easily afford them, so of course you shouldn't be able to get them right away. Also think JP Chaos is kinda a hit and miss with RNG regarding storms and all. I had some bugs going around the first time and could barely finish it so I tried a second run to see if it was the same and finished it in about 2h without any problems whatsoever. So if the Frontier people had a playthrough like my second run I can see where the 2/5 came from, if it was like the first and what others seem to experiance I really don't see it either.

No, it shouldn't cost over 2 million or 3 million for an expedition for a Rex. The 1.6 million for the Iguanodon was bad enough. Money is far too tight in this game. Like I said, it shouldn't be as easy as it was in the first game but shouldn't be that hard either. It just makes playing it a frustrating grind or chore. It starts becoming less fun. It needs a slight rebalance.

And like I said it's not hard at all. I never had trouble getting the Rex, Spino or even Hybrids in my game, even in the Jurassic challenges. It's all a matter of when you go after them. Expand in that direction at the right time and you'll already have 15-20mil in the bank, so it's no problem at all to go for the high cost big ticket dinos and expand further. If you try to go for them right away you'll run into money and skill point issues of course, but then that's a player issue not a game issue because the game never intended them to be a starter dino.

I never had money issues dealing with sick or injured dinosaurs. My money issues came from sending out expeditions for certain dinosaurs. Especially the Rex. Like I said in another post, it cost over 3 million to do an expedition to one dig site. It needs to be adjusted a bit. That's way too expensive considering that you would have to send out multiple expeditions.

The Common Cold is very annoying, I do like it can't be cured from a logical and gameplay standpoint since its functionally different from other diseases and can morph into Pneumonia. However, it spreads insanely quickly and while it doesn't appear to kill your animals, you are going to be constantly assailed with low health notifications which are distracting. Once in a while its fine, but the frequency of this outbreak is really something else, the other diseases I have no issue with having them periodically occur is about right for them.

The Rex is definitely insanely expensive, and the worst feeling is dropping 3.4 million and your team comes back with 2-3 three crustacean fossils instead. That is heartbreaking given how expensive that expedition is, it would be fine if it was 2.5 million just to be a little more merciful.

I don't know if you saw, but we're doing this in the coming update: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threa...ecember-to-jurassic-world-evolution-2.594639/

Thanks Jens, I had seen the update though I probably should have worded that better. I was referring to the update as a major relief on money costs given those tend to be some of the biggest outliers that will absolutely tank your finances.
