Just in case anyone doesn't know this one neat trick:

You can engineer 2A Prismatic shields to have a higher maximum hull mass, and slap them in the small slot on the Dolphin, giving you more room for passengers (can fit an extra Business Class) or anything else you might need to fit.

How? None of the shield generator blueprints affect maximum hull mass. Is this a bug with the Prismatic Shields?

No not a bug, some (maybe all) shield mods can give a secondary increase to the optimal hull mass stat, you will just need to do the rolls on a ship that can fit the shields already until you get the required secondary.

Is the dolphin still overheating when taking turns in planets? I am seriously thinking about buying it as a taxi/long distance luxury limo/explorer, but if this is a bug or by design it would really stop me from buying one.
