The Ed Lewis appreciation society

Met Ed last week at EliteMeet and he's a genuinely lovely guy with a passion for the game that started before he joined Frontier. It was a shame I couldn't stay longer and see him sing and play guitar, but there's always LaveCon, eh Ed?

She was doing a good job and publicly looking forward to another round of changes she already had on her test setup. Then everything was canned, she even complained on her twitter briefly about it and then, silence. After long silence, two posts wholly unrelated to the AI.
If you wish to repaint history to make it look like fdev didn't stop her from doing a good job on AI, you have to wait until people forget about her.

It is likely, she was reassigned, but there was no word about that. While we are praising customer relations, this is, for me, one of the biggest turning points. Moment in time, where fdev stopped caring.

Why should they have to tell you when and where they reassign people within the company? What if they couldn't say because of what they reassigned her to? And just FYI she has been posting over the last few months about upcoming changes to AI and how excited she is about how evil she's been :D

Oh come on, that was a good one :p

Ed Lewis and the entire Community Management team have been doing a great job and Ed's dedication has been apparent all along. The Educating Ed series has shown that he is committed, caring and passionate about the game and a great sport. From seeing how devastated he was to losing his ship during the Hutton Truckers event, to having a laugh with the Hammers of Slough (and showing off his piloting skills in the Buckyball Racing Club's Mischief Mile, where he set a really good time in his DBX), he has been a real star. I hope he makes it back safely from Beagle Point (there is some good advice here https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=241863 ) and he can certainly wear the decal with pride in future. Many thanks to Ed and to Zac and all the others at Frontier who have engaged so successfully with the community. o7.
