A short description of the Rare Good: the Mobius infinity Timepiece is a clock that measures the constant subspace quantum fluctuation that our cosmos gives off and as such is the most accurate clock in the known galaxy, this time piece is so accurate that that the clock would never need adjusting and never need batteries as it is powered by the subspace fluctuation.

when the metal TANTAULM is eradiated with the radiation given off by Azrael's sun, the properties within the TANTAULM metal change to allow a unique component to be created for the Mobius infinity time piece, for every 20,000 tons of TANTAULM eradiated 1lb of material is created for the manufacture of the Mobius infinity Timepiece

Name of Rare Good : Neutranite (and Refined Neutranite)

Short Description :
Neutranite is a semi-stable unique compound of elements made of anti-particles and normal particles and is highly sought after for use in hyperspace experiments where it's unique properties allow scientists to accurately detect hyperspace perturbations and anomalies. Once refined it is extremely dangerous in the wrong hands and due to a short useful halflife, it is very rare and valuable in that timeframe.

Star System and Star Port: Asteroids orbiting closely around neutron star (can cause some ships serious damage attempting to reach viable roids due to proximity). Refined in only 3 high tech stations, one empire, one federation and one independent.

Means to create: Neutranite is created in the the unique environment of neutron star radiation interacting with Osmium and a very particular selection of other radioactive metals in asteroid fields. Over millions of years the radiation interacts with the Osmium and other elements to produce tiny pockets of raw Neutranite within an asteroid. The anti-matter is caged in a crystal lattice of normal matter, magnetically isolating the anti-matter from the normal matter surrounding it. This allows it to be mined somewhat safely. Only 3 high tech stations can fully refine Neutranite, a mission will always be available to purchase your Neutranite and for a fee (since it's a highly controlled material) a portion of the refined Neutranite will be "misplaced" into your cargo hold at a ratio of about 1/10th the raw amount. Refined Neutranite is illegal _everywhere_ even anarchy systems and detection results in a lethal response if detected (like if you had a bounty).

Neutranite's value as a raw ore is fixed and pretty high, similar to Painite but higher and rarer. Once refined, it's value increases as the distance from the closest of the 3 high tech production facilities increase. Once produced, the refined material must be sold at a black market within 30 minutes to be of value to the buyer. Sufficiently far away could net a smuggler a million credits / ton or more. After 30 minutes the refined goods must be sold either at a loss or jettisoned. Roughly 30 minutes after refinement, the refined Neutranite will begin breaking down and the anti-matter will begin annihilating itself with matter at a slow but steadily increasing rate. The heat will build up in the ship and it could eventually destroy it, regardless of the quantity of Neutranite.

Short Description: Jovian Jitters is a recently discovered amphetamine substance that is released by ammonia-based life forms found in HR 8792 AB1. When crystallised, it becomes a powerful stimulant that enhances reactions, concentration and wakefulness. Non-addictive and quickly broken down by the body, which makes it almost impossible to detect, it is popular among Elite bounty hunters. It does give the user acute tremors if used over extended periods, hence the name.

Means to create: To create Jovian Jitters, specialised collection drones must be sent into the troposphere of HR 8792 AB1, where conditions are harsh. The success rate is 0.02%. Thus, to make the product available on-mass, a drive has been put forward by Revolutionary HR 8792 Liberals to collect Robotics and Titanium - both important materials in drone production.
Collect 10,000 Robotics and 10,000 Titanium and this will enable them to set up permanent production.

Name of Rare Good: Korian Bobble Head


Short Description: The Korian Bobble Head is prized amongst collectors and 'alternative philosophies'. Also considered as a good luck charm by combat pilots and Traders. Pilots often keep one Bobble Head to install on their starships dashboard. Manufacturing of the Korian Bobble Head is in a precarious situation. It is made by the Koria Major Corp and is considered distasteful, if not evil by the Koria Spiritual Mission which is the ruling Theocratic goverment.

Acquiring this Rare good requires dedication. The Pilot must pass through the Haydes Sector and there is the possibility that the Theocratic goverment has banned this Rare valuable. The goverment has, so far, cast a blind eye on the activity around the Bobble Head as the credits gained are critical for the Terraforming economy.

-Short description: A shady order of monks recently created these biological brain implants to keep a deceased loved one's consciousness inside your one head. Originally a small experiment, these implants quickly became hugely popular, however they have been banned in several jurisdictions as they have been known to cause an immediate and painful death for the user.

-System & station: Sothis Mining in Sothis. This is an outpost because after all the monks are "shady", however there is a bigger station in the same system for larger ships.

-Means to create: Community goal sourcing Progenitor cells to build the biological implant.
The rewards for the community goal could be like this: in tier 1 the global rewards could be start of production, top 100 percent would get 1 free ton, top 70 10 free tons, and so on until you get to the top ten percent which would get 50. These numbers would go up in the higher tiers, and the global rewards could be higher max limit per commander
