I just hit 10,000 doing one of the 'famous explorers' passenger missions. During this trip I learned two things (a) Y Canum Ven, the Red Carbon tourist spot it pretty neat, and (b) passengers don't like it when you crash into the back of a station at the end of the return trip and drop hull integrity to 17%. The first one I figured, but the second... who knew?

Never noticed exactly where it happened, I seem to have hit the 40K mark whilst in the bubble (somewhere close to Shinrarta Dezhra).
Just realised I've gone past 80k, oh dear...
