Here is my crappy attempt at story telling

I've been waiting for two years for this moment. i've finally graduated pilot school and now im a fully licensed cmdr. i've guess it finally paid off. i've was always at awe at how huge the galaxy is and i want to explore it. But ill admit it, ive always had a soft spot for nebulae. they are so huge and pretty. diffrent colors, wonderfull shapes i've always wanted to touch one. so i'm off to nebula hunting! i think ill head out to the bubble nebula because i like its sphere shape. but that is like over 9000 ly away. not an easy journey. there is a risk i could get stuck in a dead end because lets face it, 8ly range the sidewinder has might not cut it. since there is no human settlments outside a few hundred ly, i could get stranded if i dont plan the jumps near scoop able stars. no hydrogen = no power = suffocation = death. or my sidewinder can simply wear out. lets see if my training paid off.
