I am a new Sidewinder pilot. I am denied landing access to Federation stations. How do I correct this problem?

I crashed into one of their stations once. Could that be the problem?

I dont think so. I crashed into them plenty. They barely notice.

If it's an outpost, maybe there's no available landing pads. Wait until someone leaves and request permission again.

Or try in solo mode,

I had the same issue that was the result of a pad not being available. I ended up playing solo just so that I could get away from my starting point and then went back to open.
