I have had a thought. According to the galnet article, this riddle is supposed to be a rhyme. But not all the lines rhyme properly. Is this perhaps a hint that the order must be rearranged to make the riddle the correct order? Or is it just that Drew was restricted in the rhyming due to having to make the riddle in the order it is now? If the latter is true than why state in Galnet that its a Rhyme? I have been playing around and noticed some lines sound like they fit together as a sentence, and also rhyme with one another. Could be nothing, but I will look into a bit more.

Regarding the Fib: I dunno, the fact that we can't find one single method where everyone comes up with the same answer doesn't bode well. Also how can you unequivocally say that the system prefix is either BD, HIP, etc...? Just by guessing? Because there happens to be a system prefix with that number you came up with? I mean, even if we all get to the same number, how do you know which prefix it's supposed to use? That should be in the formula too.

I haven't seen this suggested yet, and this is probably too complicated, but there's no reason a Fibonacci style sequence has to use just the last two numbers. Maybe Sum(10,7,5,3) implies that we want a four element fib (call it fi4: fi4(n) = fi4(n-1) + fi4(n-2) + fi4(n-3) + fi4(n-4))

Has anyone covered the Eridanus constellation here yet? After all, when phaethon was struck down his body fell into the Eridanus River which is a constellation, from Cursa to Achenar.

Well '0' could also be the galactic center, Sagittarius A*. The arms of the galaxy follow Fibonacci spirals.

Yes indeed. That's part of why I think the video clue points to Achenar as a location. Once again though I'm not positive of this just the best guess I have - at the moment - after studying the clues.

These are likely places that Salome will be visting as part of some mysterious galactic plot. I doubt there's anything to find there at present. I was under the assumption that these places were planets.

This just random musings but if the video said
"to make an end"
"is to make a beginning..."

and the end of all this of Fibonacci's Zephyrum is 0...
So we go back to zero....

"The River to the Underworld" which is Styx and we make a beginning.
The location of Styx apparently in Feneos which is in Greece and according to Wikipedia "Feneos lies at the foot of Mount Cyllene".
The wiki for "Mount Cyllene" says "The Pleiades" were born on Mount Kyllini.
Is zero the Pleiades???

My other interpretation was that Styx is being born and that Tethys is giving birth to Styx.
"Gaia's daughter all unfurled" Tethys who is gaia's daughter is "spread out??"

I don't know if this means anything at all or if I'm overthinking things lol but I'm sure we can crack this in time.

Can we please stop mixing Ancient Greek and Roman mythologies and vocabulary?

I must insist that no more Latin be allowed in this storyline after that Greek-dominated mystery poem ended in a botching of Latin noun cases—on a word of Greek origin! Zephyros means "west wind" in Greek.

Hmm what "wind" blows westward in a direction reminiscent of Fibonacci, if not the spiraling "wind" of a galaxy? It would tend to be at the start of the Formidine rift, that general part of the galactic current that moves westward.

We managed to overpower the invaders. but not before
they took out the main reactor. We're dead in space. with
twenty minutes of life support left. Didn't get nothing out
of them before they died, but clearly it was all planned.
They took a drug which killed them. Doc says it's
nicknamed 'Hexedit'. First it kills your memories, then it
kills you. Neat and tidy.

So we're dead, just waiting for the end. This will be the last
log from the Zurara. Some of the crew have already killed
themselves. Others are praying to whatever deity they
believe might help them. A few are drinking themselves
into oblivion. I don't know what will get us first the lack of
oxygen or the cold. Battery power is about to die.

around Earth-like or terraformable worlds We prepped
some of the terraform candidates with seeders and
biofilters. No one can figure out why it was necessary. but
that was the mission. Just as we were turning back...
boom, those cargo-handlers went nuts.

My 2 cents

Drew says don't over think it. So Fibonacci’s Zephyrum refers to zero, or the origin. That could mean the origin of the galactic coordinate system, or the origin of mankind, or both. Either way it means Sol.

So, why would Salome go to Sol?

As I understand it, she plans to release some great secrets to the Bubble. How is she going to do this? She needs a transmitter, and not just a ship transmitter. Presumably a ship transmitter isn't very powerful and the message has to go through relay links to go long distances. Otherwise, just broadcast from wherever she is!**

But she cannot use any official comm link because they are compromised by TPTB (The Powers That Be). Message goes in, gets encrypted and sent only to TPTB and no one is the wiser. So, she needs to link into one or more unregistered comm beacons.

And, if I recall, there are several such beacons in Sol.

This also probably relates to the ancient artifact found on Mars, of which we know nothing about. My guess is this is part of the mystery to unfold, and probably has to do with the Guardians.

So the rest of the message probably relates to the route she will be taking.




** OK lets forget for a moment that every ship has such impressive telecommunications capability that it can telepresence an entire crewperson into any other ship anywhere in the galaxy.
