THE FORMIDINE RIFT MYSTERY (Part 4)

Ok, how about

Leave it alone

Or

Bring back the dead

Or

Bring the ship to the ships graveyard

Or

Bring back the dead
Bring it to life as a deep space outpost/station

Or

Bring back the dead
Bring it to life as a deep space outpost/station
Make her fly again

Or

Bring back the dead
Make her fly again

IF it was worth a vote, if we had a chance to make multiple community goals and get Frontier to update the Zurara appropiately. This is the first stage - petition frontier to allow us to do SOMETHING with the Zurara.

Sorry folks. V. busy at the moment. :)

I think CGs and so on around the Zurara, recovering the bodies, renovating it -using it as a base, moving the ship itself etc. are very cool. It is a derelict at this point, so game for whatever players decide they would like to do from my perspective.

Cheers,

Drew.

Fix it up and use it as a base, but it will never move.
It has a discontued(2b) hyper drive and we will never get a new one out there.

People will get frustrated if they dock there and it embarkes on a one week hyper jump. ;)

That may be the reason that no one tries to think a bit economcal.

This is how you do it.

1. Pick up a few bodies.
2. Telepresence them back to their family for a quick ceremony on one of those T9s.
3. Space them.

Bit harsh, surely providing a dignified burial in space on a terminal orbit to return to the stars from whence we came sounds a little better.

All this talk of bringing back the dead? Guessing we're taking about returning bodies to the bubble rather than resurrection. It's just that the phrasing makes it sound like the latter... :D

What? Just return the dead bodies?

*looks sad at all the black candles and chickens in the cargo hold*
*removes pentagrams*

In keeping with the necro theme, why not ... *shudders* ...compress the remains and turn em into low temperature diamonds. Hey presto that's the remains dealt with, and several shipments of rare goods, very long distance. That'll fund the repairs.

Too morbid?

Hi Drew,
I think I'm a little late with this post – but I hope this might be another little piece to convince you to give us some more mysteries in ED – sooner or later. To make it short: For me the Rift Mystery was the thing that made the difference between a very good computer game and an experience I will remember. (I also played Elite back in 1984, so one could imagine that I'm not so easy to impress by computer games any more)
But after a finishing a big piece of work one needs a break… no question.
