I've had that happen with planets around Maia's black hole, although since then they are normal. I assume it's a graphics bug.

I've had that happen with planets around Maia's black hole, although since then they are normal. I assume it's a graphics bug.
But surely drew knows that you can't get dw rep unless you are elite. So for him to say it's not rank locked means it's not dw rep locked. I mean yeah there are discrepancies between the books and game but that's only because of games changes after the books were written. I'd expect and major change like faction requirements to be broadcast somehow in game. FD must know that solving any mystery that's in game now..
..if it's found out that to solve said mystery was never possible without a serten impossible criteria being met..would result in a mass exidous of players that are playing the actual game. I just can't see that happening. There's something good to find....there's just has to be.

Zoom around it. I didn't understand or see it untill I realy looked. It's inside the rift. A group of dwarf systems close together. Thay line up with the h/s nebula and the bubble. The fact that there systems together inside the "fat" part of the rift seems odd. That's all realy. If we can get there.

Okay, will get looking then... Getting here was little hard, but possible without jumponium. But had to leave little fuel in fuel tank to manage some jumps. Now i see why Leut didn't make it this far - at least 36 Ly jump range required.Zoom around it. I didn't understand or see it untill I realy looked. It's inside the rift. I'm in Prism right now, on the idea that there might be clues back in the human bubble, and I've just had a rather unusual encounter. Although I have no idea if it's just a bug or what.
I came across a salvageable wreckage, but had a lot of trouble dropping into it. I would get to within about 2.5 Mm, then it would keep distance with me, or even accelerate slowly away. I could not get within 1 Mm on a normal approach. I had pull far out from it, then zoom in at high speed, timing it just right that I still had enough speed to overtake it.
Once I made it in, I saw the familiar grey box on my radar, indicating something to be scooped, but as a turned to see it, it quickly changed to the "out of range" blinking yellow radar return. There was also a "smoke" line where something gone off at high speed. It wasn't my own, because I could see mine, much thicker and closer.
Anyone ever seen anything like this before?
