The frequency of Empire rank missions and the nature of them

So I found some combat stabilizers in Gende and from a 2h 30min mission I got back with 4 minutes to spare and just for added drama I got the dreaded cannot connect to server on the bulletin board twice before I got in with about 2 mins to spare. That was fun but was incredibly close to disaster. I am now a outsider which doesn't sound that great but onwards and upwards.

3 more should net you Serf.

3 more, I thought that these missions only turned up when you had enough rep with the Empire to earn a promotion. I didn't realise they would always be available and you needed to do enough to gain another rank. That makes me abit sad to be honest.

First post, jay! :)

Right! Contents. I had a mission on Liadein (Kohl Station) for the Imperial Navy. It was to find 3 units of personal weapons. Not the easiest thing to find, but I noted something that made it extra challenging: They are illegal on Liaedin. And the station was a coriolis station I don't think I've ever NOT been scanned at. My first impulse was, 'huh, extra challenge. Good.'. My second impulse was: Abandon mission.

Next one was for combat stabilizers. Not sure I've ever seen those. Oh well. *starts searching*

Is it better to get closer to 'real' imperial space?
How do you get a permit to enter Acheron, Achenar, or whatever the capitol was named? :D

Good question, I assume its a case of going to nearby stars and getting in with a faction in achenar, presumably the imperial government or something. Might also need a certain rank.

so can someone write down the ranks for empire
none
outsider
..
serf

then i heard of master, lord and baron can someone put that into order?

Just went from None to Baron in one day...

Rankings I have been through:
Outsider
Serf
Master
Squire
Knight
Lord
Baron

Maybe something is wrong? Getting Lord and Baron was way too easy (source 3 personal weapons and deliver 2 grain respectively).

Addendum: Interestingly enough I had to deliver 2 grain to a station called, Mysh Mad, orbiting the planet Delicious Cinnamon...

This is going to sound ungrateful, but I think they've over fixed it. The missions went from extremely rare to everywhere. Oh and you should only need to do one mission at each level to gain a rank. At least I've only completed one at each level and am now a Knight.
