The game falls apart. When is the next patch coming?

problem is...in modern world nobody knows what part fails. For example, for me Elite is horrible and RDR2 is not working at all with latest NVIDIA drivers. Pre-latest works as the charm.
So just find out steady setup and stop updating for long.

I would like to park my carrier at the usual planet. No longer works.
I would like to collect material with the SRV. Parts just disappear.
Shadows and light sources just pop up.
Immersion steadily decreases.

Do something about it.

1 - there is a work around for that
2 - watch where your wheels go
3 - gfx settings (I don't get those)

Do something about your playing. ;)

BTW - yes there are some really annoying bugs but your posts in this thread are just so entitled.

Ah, the game is so broken that I have only played around 40 hours, without any issues, in the last week...
Probably a few hours in each of the preceding weeks also, without any 'game breaking' issues.

Why, I even have my FCs parked orbiting my bodies of choice!

Yes, the game has plenty of bugs, but, in truth, it has had plenty for the almost 6 years I've been playing.

players wanted new content, they have new "bugs"

i avoid the flying/interdicting ones by playing outside the warzone (no new content for me)
but i find it much more difficult to avoid all the unintended one,
i found it impossible to play a single session without being impacted by at least 1 bug or another,
so i stopped playing ED,
i only read the forums,
waiting for Starfield (i doubt Star Ccitizen will be out of alpha one day...)

edit : the game is not dead but it is almost dead for me (for new players and white knights, that is not the case of course)

I'm happy for the people who enjoy the game despite the numerous bugs.
Unfortunately I'm not one of them. I just expect a certain level of quality.

If Frontier didn't see "38,887 bugs!" as a selling point, they'd have made their bug tracker do what every other bug tracker does and not included the closed entries on the default view.

(About 3,800 are Open, and that rises to about 32,000 if the ones which only aren't open because they didn't get 10 confirmations in time are included)

I wrote that whoever has to fix all the bugs is screwed.
The Issue Tracker has many pages, yes.
I've written about the nonsense of this tool before.
There are still a lot of bugs, some of which are very old.
My question was when the error handling will continue.

The errors are piling up and the issue tracker is full to bursting.
When will error handling continue?
The concept that more patches will make Elite better reminds me of the old classic The Mythical Man-Month. I'll even argue that it's been the revolving door of countless developers over the years that resulted in the terrible mess the game code has become. Elite is beyond patching at this point.
