Previously

Having decided to take a little shore leave, we stumbled across this earthlike world just out of nowhere.
lNf1NoN.jpg

The curious thing was that no sooner had we rested ourselves and enjoyed the sunshine, the rain, the lack of air-conditioning hum, that we boarded the ship and Poof! it was gone. Just a memory.

Or was it a dream? Sunrise arriving soon.

My turn to keep watch!

We are travelling again...

There are some things that make you feel small.
Jxu28Pl.png
Very small... This Nebula gives me the creeps on approach it took many forms - the creepiest one being a hooded woman in a chair, beckoning for me to approach.

lZawvjd.png

An ammonia moon - beautiful sights, and all I keep thinking is that it's there and it's watching me.
i4DYlhO.png

Geologically it is an amazing world with different structures and landscape types all within an hour's drive. Ridge running is a thing, right? Never let a mishap spoil the chance for a photo op...

5 out of 6 biologicals collected and all that's left is to find the Fungoids. I know exactly where they can be found.

But if you think I'm going to clamber over this [censored] you have another think coming. I think I can live with that.

Laters, CMDRs! o7

That's gorgeous, but Osseus aren't supposed to be translucent like that; please help!

That's quite common on cold worlds, and I am talking about in the low double digit kelvins, the species of Oseus that live there are often semi transparent, it's likely they are using local materials which are often frozen methane and other cold world in their makeup.

Most elliptical planet I've encountered so far. And it was fast!

Thumbled out from very rough terrain to this wide desert. Feeling so small... and alone.

Be aware, black ice.

I have a soft spot for wide rings.

And these rings are huuuge! Three shepherd moons keeping the gap open.

If only those were the only circumstances in which it happened or the only life form that it happened to. See the ticket and thread examples.

How tall do these things get?!

Ah, that tall:

On the subject of dried river beds, this canyon looks like it had liquid running through it, up to a certain height:

I should spend my hard-earned ARX on a hammock and a fishing pole, and set up camp here waiting for the next flood in a billion years or so:
