The great big Odyssey Screenshots thread

Yes - I have enough credit for a year's worth of exploring and am out around 5.5Kylies southeast of the Bubble. So am exploring a small area of the Sanguineous Rim, where there's tons of unexplored star systems, undiscovered ELWs, AWs, Crystal Shards location, worlds with abundant life, mining spots and some beautiful rings. I have my fleet with me and other CMDRs are always welcome. There's even a bar!

And I'm more than happy to mine my own Tritium, so who know how long I'll be out here for!
I'm currently 8500 ly "north-east" of Sol, Hawking Gap. =)

Turning the Galaxy blue one star at a time is interesting. Take this Earth-like World. It is rare because it orbits an M-Class star which would not normally get searched for ELWs.
M Class Earth Like

The same goes for these ringed gas giant sister worlds. No children here!

6kls out makes it hard to see the unique colouring on this gas giant: Blueberries and Cream, with intense royal blue stirred up in the storms:

Returning home is always a pleasure though...

See you out there! o7

It's been a couple of days, but that's because it's been real busy and I have been bumping into some really very uninteresting systems.

I mean - there comes a point where you are like "another water world?"
Waterworld Flyby
And another?
W6

I mean they are the bread and butter... true. But I am really looking for that significant discovery.
W2

This came close. Twin ice moons. Sadly, not landable (yet)!
Bolas
Close Binary

But, after a long drought of uninteresting yet beautiful systems...
My Colours

We finally hit pay dirt!
Gludgae UJ-K b8-10 4 B ring

With a standard density of 10.08 and a number of overlaps it should provide a good number of cores. Time to call the carrier in and start earning next year's upkeep!

Well, we may be a little time here! o7

Exactly my thought, they are embarrassingly common.
Shouldn't it be about as rare as ELW?
Googling...
"In June 2020, NASA scientists reported that it is likely that exoplanets with oceans are common in the Milky Way galaxy, based on mathematical modeling studies.[9][10][11]
Planetary oceanography is the science of extraterrestrial oceans." (wikipedia)
Oh wow!
BUT, according to wikipedia the appearance should be more diverse. Well nothing's perfect right ?

Cool :
In June 2020, astronomers reported evidence that the dwarf planet Pluto may have had a subsurface ocean, and consequently may have been habitable, when it was first formed.
