It's finally over ... Only from now on, every minute I spend on this game is for fun.

For now, my plan is to only have one suit of each kind upgraded. And I don't even have one. When I reach that goal, I may (or may not) consider further variations. Right now it seems like an insane time investment even to reach my first goal.

21 fully modded suits ? Wow. I'll have one semi-stealth Maverick build that is done, one juggernaut Dominator build that's in the works amd one hermit Artemis, that is work enough. And then there are the weapons. And when all 11 pieces are done, I won't tough the Odyssey engineers for a good while, but play with what I've made, hoping I made the right picks and only if absolutely necessary remake something with different mods.

Seems like you enjoyed the grind (which makes it not-grind) - do you know how many hours it took?

I've got 3 level 2 suits and a couple of level 3 guns, one with a scope attached - all bought after the weekly update :) (also not-grind).

OP, how many hours and do you have any hints on what is the most effective way to get stuff? :D
Maybe average around 4~5 hours per day. plenty of time staying at home those days -_-

For most of mats, find 2 bases (better from different factions) next to each other. Fly back and forth in APEX, kill and grind until both sides go hostile.
For power regulator, when do every fetch mission also "fetch" their power regulators as well, especially the type comes with a building [hab + pwr]. Another way is from restore missions ;P
For MI, the best way is to complete x5 MI reward missions. This also helps to build a good relationship with the station. When your reputation goes higher, can get x10 rewards by bargaining with in-station NPCs.

This grind thing is actually an unlock process to enable different play styles.
The difficulty of grind itself will drop dramatically when the first indoor grind suite + regular plasma handgun completed. You can easily stealth wipe out every ground base with NPCs below lv4. Get either a plasma sniper (to change the way of playing to avoid boring) or shotgun (be king of Lv4 NPC ground bases and infiltration specialist), then it's almost end game state for most of non-cz combat element.

cz is a sad thing, suppose to play with friends but the connection is bad here I drop very often and has to be in solo. I use high cz for credits. I spent 1b during the grinding, as most of gears are bought from lv3 directly. high cz is the only place can earn decent credits, also it's a good place to cool down notoriety points. You dont have to wait but actually play, enjoy these moded gears and rank up combat titles. If you bring a small ship with lv5 long range wake scanner, after each cz session there are great many of wakes to collect as well.

I usually buy from lv3 directly, especially when there is a good mod attached. There is no weapon upgraded from lv1 except the very first G5 handgun I made in colonia.
But you are correct maybe actually I enjoy the process of grind otherwise I may not complete this many of gears : )

No wonder Grinders want the game to be made easier :)

Oh, and you seem to have skipped some of the actual best builds - back to grinding! :ROFLMAO:
I have found that "best" is more subjective in EDO than in Horizons. My Maverick has night vision, increased backpack capacity, reduced tool energy use and combat movement speed. Perfectly suits my needs in on- and offline settlements, but I'm sure there are plenty of players who'd very much disagree with that choice of mods. But it works for me, and that is what counts.

Impressive, CMDR. I'm amassing a similar collection, although no where near as well presented as yours.

Like you, most of these started as a pre-upgraded find.

Just 3 guns and 1 suit to complete:

Did you try the fun first? :p
Shhh, don't tell anyone ... this is part of the fun ;)

Don't you feel you want to leave some room on your suits and guns for the inevitable changes, rebalancing passes and new mods?
