The Green and Pink expedition [travelog]

WP 31 : Camouflage. Where's my greeny ? ( GGG n°17 : Byoomi XE-X d2-7844 )

Long time to see !
Slowy, slowy, my journey trought colorfull place (well, not the last one... And, spoiler alert, not this one) of ythe galaxy continue.
Travelling from GGG n°16 as uneventfull, with no particular discovery or danger. Veteran explorer stuff : we're hard to surprise now...

So, i finally arrived at Byoomi XE-X d2-7844
And it was a surprise ! But not necessarily a very good one.

This "GGG" is surprising... by don't look like a GGG !

From the system map, we don't notice any "neon green dot".
PqH4CMO.jpg

But we've already GG with very very tiny dot, so maybe on site, on another angle/side of the planet... And the planet descirption fit the GGG category. And "Codex alert" said it was one and "confirmed" it.
Well... I don't have find any fluorescnt green.

Wierd !
So, no neon-green marvel... But there're some things to show here !
There're 3 space anomaly in the systme (one Lagrange Cloud and 2 in the ring of the "GGG").
And, into the rings, there're the specific K-10 Anomaly, only found around GGG according to the Codex. And some metallic shard.

In the Lagrande Cloud, there's K-10, metallic shard and metallic sphere.

In fine, a strange planet. Not exceptionnal scenery, but the anomaly are always fun to visit.
And it's not to far of Explorer's Anchorage (my next stop before going to GGG n°18 and n°19).

WP 32 : Vanilla with strawberry coulis and pistachio (GGG n°19 : Cryaa Ain ZJ-R e4-4 )

After a pit stop to Explorer Anchorage (as a glorious imperial citizen, i love my ship clean and with a full minibar), i went to the next GGG on my ever growing list (they found 2 more...).
The travel was safe and without nothing special.

So i arrived at Cryaa Ain ZJ-R e4-4 . The main star is a neutron star (always nice), above the galatic plane (i love the contrast of the empty black void and the glowing galaxy).
Funny enough, the small plot of the GGG is green from the neutron star.
A good omen ? Hmmm... Not really.

This GGG is... relatively bland, almost all grey/withey. But with surprise !
There small pink puff ! And in one (maybe two) of them : fluorescent green !

As you seen, there's another gas giant nearby, that always nice for impressive screeny.
Time to investigate more the biggest pink/screen clouds...
Warning : Some pics below are constrast enhanced for awesomeness.

Newbies copilots seem to always have problem with high gravity well... But these time she finally stabilized the ship for docking.

Time to frolic in rings now ! Saddly, no Space Faeries to play with here...
The brown dust of these rings offer a nice constrast with the white giant.

The GGG have also a nearby moon, with some silicate geyser... Time to find a basecamp with nice scenery !
tkvvaPb.jpg

Bingo ! A profound canyon with some lava spout with a sky full of GGG view !

TQHkqlQ.jpg

This GGG is not... exceptionnal. Not so much green/pink. But i find it strangely appeling, with a lot of "cool small stuff for screeny" (rings, neabry moon/other giant, above galaxy plane, geyser).

WP 33 : Neon Beacon (GGG n°18 : Synookio EI-J d9-1)

Time to go to the nexte one ! The GGG n°18 was "nearby", espacially with neutron jump.
Funny discovery near a neutron star : i was surpercharging my FSD and surprise ! A hot jupiter !

After this, i soon arrived at Synookio EI-J d9-1 and find the marvelous GGG known as Neon Beacon.
It's a mint-chocolate type (with some coffee-colored clouds) but where the brown layer are almost red.

One funny particularity of this GGG is its pole, who have some great green circles.

The GGG have some nice rings too. But no space anomaly to play with.

There're some lovely landable moon, with some geyser. But a bit foggy.

So a really nice one, with vivid green and unusual colors, with lots of place for nice screeny !

WP 34 : It's a bit flashy, no ? No, Green Glory ! (GGG n°21 : Praea Euq VP-M c21-1)

It's time to return "home", in the Bubble... again. And for (five billions in fact) reason.
Luckily, other explorer are not lazy as i am... They found another GGG nearby, now named (with reason) Green Glory : Praea Euq VP-M c21-1
Traveling to it was totally uneventfull and without "major" (or even minor) discovery.

But once arrived, what a wonderful spectacle! It was supergreen, with ring and landable (binary) moon with volcanism.

There're some big rocky ring (alas without space anomaly) for musing around.

My ship have the perfect camo' for it :

Selfie again, in the mini-alien ship :

I've noticed that in this i don't have my beautiful free hairs but some sort of helmet... It's new ? Or i'm just not very observant ?

wUVEsjD.jpg

Was it a good idea to race my nocive pilot in charge of the mothership, in asteroids rings ? Hmmmm... Well, it's Elite:Dangerous !

These rings are dusty...

Time to go closer for a fly by.
Hj6ebpu.jpg

IECFXFL.jpg

Notice the dark blue clouds (and the pinkish one) : it's a sign that Blue+NeonGreen Gas Giant exist ! Well... i know this only because one was discovered (of course at the other side of the galaxy)

Time to setup the camp in the twin moon with some nice yellow geyser

jBkwCaS.jpg

uCIL8BG.jpg

Saddly, i couldn't find a nice place showing the GGG n°21 and the geyser... Maybe at another time...

After that, i return to the Bubble, for repair, refuel, repaint and... grinding !
For, of course, the Big Thing.
Using the standard cheat code, i promptly (well... not really, i'm an awful grinder) doubled my cash but the goal is far (i still need 3B)... And my interest is fading fast with the annouce and the beta... My dream of a giant cycler, a touring megaship going from GGG to GGG seem impossible. At least with this iteration of Big Useless Thingy.
So... Waiting&Grinding (booooriiiiing) or venture in the dark again to GGG n°15, 20 and 22 ?

WP 35 : Greeny Dotty ( GGG n°15 : Bleia Dryoae UV-C c29-52 )

Griding is not really something for me... At least, not the mining/ressource collecting grind. I quickly got tired of doing the same thing as 30% of people on the galaxy (aka mining diamonds at Borann) so... Here we go again ! To the void anb the Green !
Chasing le GGG around the galaxy I missed the opportunity to visit n°15. So it's my first stop.

The journey was uneventfull, with the mandatory ELW (with a nice landable moon).

LlGRy8W.jpg

And during my travel, an email informed me.... That i've travelled more than 1 000 000 ly !

I not-promptly arrive at Bleia Dryoae UV-C c29-52
This GGG was marked as visually "Meh" by othe glorious green-seeking explorators.
And... well, it was.

I only found one green spot. And no rings or space anomaly to frolic around.
So, the pictures, sometimes constrast enhanced for spotting the tiny green dot :

The hunt begin...

KNP8b6S.jpg
Did you find it ?

By the way, i changed (again) my paintjob...

Even without rings, i needed to play with the Guardian fighter.

bZnPRwL.jpg

DfQJWa7.jpg

There a landable icy moon nearby with some geyser and canyons...
axn416c.jpg
But saddly, with the minuscule dot, we can admire the green from there...

So, next time, another (apparently) "meh" GGG : n°20 ! But the passion never die !
