I remember playing the demo of Infestation ages ago and thinking it was awesome, but never got hold of it. So do you know where I can get it?

We don't have it available for download and to make it suitable for release now we would have to update the game. A quick Google reeveals http://downloads.gamezone.com/demos/d961.htm which looks like the demo download.

Your best bet is to purchase the game again using one of the above online retailers.
Your best bet you be to try EBay. A copy might turn up there, but be warned, this game does not like modern PCs very much. Even on my 7 year old dual core pentium it refused to run right. As far as I can tell, its to do with the copy protection on the disk causing massive lag in the frame rates, rendering the game unplayable. Virus 2000 suffers from similar ailments too
A pirated copy would have the copy protection removed. So that might explain why you got it to run. I am still hoping GOG might get this title and Virus 2000 (hint hint Frontier Developments) as they remove all copy protection on their titles.

Another question. When i was small(like 5 years old) i played a game with a car, and you got near water, and it turned into a boat. then you get to the road, and you find a truck and you transform into a motorcycle. That's all i remember from the game
Yep Michaels right sounds like Spyhunter to me as well.
You used to drive into the back of the truck to upgrade your weapons with smoke screens and oil slicks

Infestation 2000 Remake (Please help make this happen)
Hello readers,
I know that a lot of you may not understand or know what am i talking about, or will say "eww, that game is bad"
Well give it a chance first.
At the year 2000, Ubisoft and Frontier Developments made a PC/PS game called INFESTATION.
The game was on DirectX7 graphics, and wasn't too heavy.
In the game you control a vehicle with a big amount of weaponry and upgrades, the vehicle had 5 mods (buggy, armored truck, hovercraft, heli-jet, skimmer) which you could transform to.
The story was that aliens captured your home world and you need to travel through portals to different worlds (twenty two words with different puzzles), eliminating them with various ways and missions until you kill the boss "Alien Brain" which in the end escapes and the game ends.
I Really love that game since it was my childhood, i tried to install and play it again but it failed since windows 7 won't support the game anymore no matter how harder i tried so i thought maybe just maybe if i get enough attention from gamers maybe with some luck ubisoft will notice this and make a remake of the game, which could become something big, a 2012-2013 style of gaming could make the game so cool and that would be fantastic. ubisoft might ignore this since they might think "that is in the past, no one wants such thing" but help me show them that it's incorrect and that this game could be a fantastic idea to remake and relive again!

By the way, the soundtrack of this game creates such a wonderful atmosphere, it's a great soundtrack, sadly i can't relive it since windows 7 can't support the game, and no one uploaded the soundtrack anywhere but that was fantastic.
This is the first post i do on frontier and the second on ubisoft about it, i made a post a year ago on ubisoft, and several people made the videos i showed you above because of that to show people this game, this time we could achieve even more!

So, what about now?
Yeah, some of us still remember, and with current technology, looking at what Frontier accomplished with Elite: Dangerous (fantastic work btw), a remake could be absolutely amazing, much bigger, with potential sequels if the reception is good (Woah, i'm just imagining how awesome the game would look if remade in a modern engine, with modern lightning and graphics.)
Look, i understand this is an old and buried game and most people that remember it are probably dead (jk), but even old forgotten gems like Star Control or Total Annihilation get remakes, so why not this?
I recommend at least running a poll or a test to see how people would respond so such a game today (to be fair, people should be shown the original Infestation gameplay and stuff to actually understand why is it awesome), or doing a short demo. Maybe it's financially worth it?
Sadly there is no source code available, so it's fully in your guys' hands.
