Hmmm. Kerbal is $40 USD, from it's own site. Might wait for the holidays.
It is definitely worth the price, unlike some games I can think of. cough I love this game, it is so addictive in whatever mode you play it. Once you do the space rescue mission you are ready for anything. 
Wow really? KSP is that expensive now? I remember buying very first alpha version for like 6-10 buck lol.
Tempted to buy it, but I'm afraid it'll just end in the "don't play because E: D (even with its flaws) eats all my play time" bin.
KSP is the definition of sandbox. I'm only saying that today because I finally managed to successfully dock the second module onto my space station last night. So many toys.
I'll be limited by my crappy computer with how big I can make any single construction, but still only scratching the surface. Minmus/Mun stations next.
