The Lost World 25th Anniversary DLC

Yes, I too would like a "The Lost World" campaign.
I imagine a large wild Isla Sorna, with the possibility of building an Ingen base camp to capture the dinosaurs that live free.
Use the vehicles of the hunters, and engage in dangerous encounters with the dinosaurs in first person.
Then insert the baby T.rex, the baby Stegosaurus and the baby Triceratops into the game and insert the "parental care" thus creating a "family" of dinosaurs!
It would actually be, as others have written, to insert the skin of the Pteranodon 1997, without teeth and with the long crest! (My favorite animal of the Franchise!).
It would also be great to be able to include the cargo ship S.S Venture, to transport the T.rex to San Diego.
Wanting to exaggerate, why not show the T.rex freeing itself in San Diego and use Ian Malcolm and Sarah Harding with their car, ready to reach the baby T.rex kept in the amphitheater and then be chased by his father, and finally lead him back on the ship and then sedate him.

You were really excited, but the city map of San Diego I guess very unlikely. Anyway, it's good to see your enthusiasm for The Lost World! I also wish I could have baby dinosaurs in the game, it may be that they add in the distant future. But now they're unlikely to add

Right on the ship that carries the Tyrannosaurus rex and the city of San Diego! It would be nice, but maybe a little too much even for Frontier Team !
Personally I'd cross my fingers for TLW's Pteranodon, I and others have also requested it several times, and there is no doubt that it is the most beautiful and realistic of the Franchise.
Otherwise I had also proposed to create another animal to be included in the roster, and call it "Pteranodon longiceps" so as to make it as realistic as the "Geostenbergia"...

Yes, you have probably right, but you know, it is always better to try to share an idea, however difficult it may be to realize, maybe the Frontier Team might like it !
In any case, the 1997 Pteranodon skin would be wonderful, think that since childhood it was my "favorite" prehistoric reptile!
And apart from that, it's arguably the most beautiful and realistic Pteranodon in the franchise, it also seems to have some pycnofibres.
Also placed here an image of the first and original male Pteranodon of "The Lost World", maybe the people who read the topic, looking at it ,could decide to join us for this request to the Frontier Team, we hope !
Guys, Pteranodon skin 1997 needs you!

More explanatory images for the possible additional DLC campaign for the 25th anniversary of The Lost World !

Together Pteranodon 1997 skin , they could also insert Mamenchisaurus 1997 ,as reported by a user in the dinosaur wish list !

Then ,here are the photos of some of the most representative Ingen vehicles, it would be nice to be able to use it to capture the larger dinosaurs.
Imagine being able to use a hunter personally, to sedate small dinosaurs in the forest, do you think it would be possible?

Sorry if I'm exaggerating, but except for the first unreachable Jurassic Park, I think, The Lost World, however made and directed by Steven Spielberg, was a great sequel, worthy of making a nice 25th anniversary commemorative DLC !

In the post dedicated to The Lost World Pteranodon, Mosek posted even better images about the appearance of Pteranodon that appeared in the film, placed one, to update also here the aspect that the developers of the Frontier Team could consider to make a possible DLC.
Thanks Mosek !

well a new DLC needs new dinosaurs because only skins is okay but people want more from anniversary DLC.

A new larger Isla Sorna Alpine and Redwood with fog map is needed

NEW SPECIES:
The species of mention will most likely come from the Jurassic Park novels because so many of these species are still unrepresented from these legendary books that began the Jurassic Park franchise so why not give these guys sorry girls a chance to shine in a 25th anniversary DLC.

Ornitholestes: personally I really hope Frontier adds feathers if this species were to be added to a DLC not conclusive take it with a grain of salt but I really think feathers would suit this species if a added.
20220608_234355.jpg

Alamosaurus: it had a mention in Jurassic Park as a skeleton, but I have to admit I would love at least a titanosaur that had some sort of quills on its back similar to diplodocus, or possibly some sort of light osteoderm defense on its back like saltasaurus it's cousin, so this way you can differentiate it from other sauropods and also for its face not to look goofy looking. Plus the Alamosaurus was 25% smaller than its Southern counterparts from South America.
20220608_231735.jpg

Mussaurus: I have to admit when I read about this species from the novel I had to do a lot of research well it's actually quite interesting I would have preferred plateosaurus or lessemsaurus but this species is slightly smaller so it's okay in my book.

20220608_225945.jpg

Hadrosaurus: mentioned in both the novels and was going to be in the first Jurassic Park movie it was even supposed to appear in the lost world but got cut again sadly. Although if I would have to differentiate this species I would have to give it a bright colorful representation so like the pyroraptor I would definitely want Hadrosaurus to stand out from the rest of its kin.
20220609_065007.jpg

Tenontosaurus: a species that was pretty common during the time when acrocanthosaurus ruled North America this species definitely got a mention in the novels from Dr Ian Malcolm and why not right I mean a third legitimate iguanodon species would be interesting and this one definitely is a good candidate for a third species it's small it's got a very long tail compared to other members of its kin.
20220609_003614.jpg

Othnielia: a smaller or Ornithopod species from the gondwana regions would definitely be an absolute treat to have honestly a smaller species of orthopod is heavily needed dryosaurus is cute and all but it's much smaller cousin is even way cuter and I definitely would enjoy seeing a smaller ornithopod in the game running around like in JPOG. Frontier please add the chirping from Jurassic Park operation Genesis from the dryosaurus to this game for this species if added.

NEW SKINS:
Pteranodon 1997-as much as I love the 2001 skin I would seriously dig the pteranodon skin from the Lost World Jurassic Park considering this particular variant of pteranodon didn't have teeth like the 2001 version.

Mamenchisaurus 1997-I really like the frontier version, but I also still want the original Lost World Jurassic Park version as what we saw in the movie because many people think that that's what Mamenchisaurus looked like but I still want the version that was depicted in the Lost World Jurassic Park.

Well this is just my idea just take it with a grain of salt I'm just presenting it here so Frontier developers can see what they could do with this little post on this thread. Or interesting idea for this thread I meant.

Very interesting propouse , I'd like it ! About Hadrosaurus, I am not sure that is a species today , but instead, should be a gender... (I can also be in mistake)
As well you have right ! Frontier Team, will not consider a new DLC, without new dinosaurs and only with skins , and I am agree for a new Isla Sorna map !
We hope that Frontier Team could listen to us !
Personally is from the first Jurassic World Evolution game , that I ask for TLW's Pteranodon skin !
Also because now , with the implementation of the flying reptiles in the roster, we can see the lack of a beautiful and more "correct" and rappresentative Pteranodon !
About the 2001's Pteranodon skin , the animal seems to be smaller than the Jurassic World 's female.... something should be done !

Yes, it would be a great roster of dinosaurs and skins, these proposals undoubtedly, combined with the previous ones of other users, would make a great DLC commemorating the 25th anniversary of the fantastic second film of the Jurassic saga, directed by Steven Spielberg.
"The Lost World" deserves!

This is the animatronic of Pteranodon, made for the 1997 film.
Pteranodon animatronic.jpg

Still after 25 years, it is extraordinarily realistic, much more than the Pteranodon of Jurassic Park 3 and Jurassic World, look at the long toothless beak, the picnofibers, the expressiveness of the eye, a small work of art.
It was never used in the film, as the final Pteranodon was made in computer graphics by the "Light and Magic" industries.
The design was slightly modified, the neck was elongated and the picnofibres became less evident, moreover more varied and intense colors of the monotonous white were preferred.
Sometimes it is not easy to orient yourself on the actual skin to be brought to the attention of the developers, on the internet you can find drawings and images both taken from the animatronic, and from the final realization present in the film and made by ILM.
The first image that I posted in the topic, is evidently derived from animatronics.
df1e6sf-247e5b85-e1f6-4d4c-9e02-767c7883bf4d2.jpg

The image that the user Mosek showed in another topic and that I proposed yesterday in this and others, is evidently derived from the official representation present in the film, made by ILM and I think it is perhaps the most coherent one to propose to the developers, being officially the skin of Pteranodon 1997.

EUtFshGWsAYHFxC.jpg

You did a great job of reconstructing the visual history of the Pteranodon from "The Lost World" !
Personally I like the drawing with the word "Ingen" more, I find it more realistic, the one that if I understand correctly, is inspired by the animatronic.
Anyway, honestly, I would be fine with it, in either version, as long as they do it !

Yes, in fact, the animatronic and the drawing that is derived from these are very similar to the real Pteranodon, whose neck, at the state of current paleontological knowledge is shorter and more robust than the one proposed in the film by ILM industrie, more elongated and subtle.
But it was the second version that actually appeared in the 1997 film ...
What can I tell you, I would be very satisfied that in any case the skin is created, as much inspired by the animatronic drawings as by those of ILM, however, if the developers decided to satisfy us, I do not think they would choose based on our discussions that have the sole purpose of highlighting requests for possible DLCs.
They will probably have other official sources and materials available to create the 3d models of the dinosaurs, even in this case I imagine they would have official references to follow coming directly from the drawings with the official license.
We simply explained why there are slightly different drawings on the internet about the same subject, I think that, after all, it is enough to propose one of the two images, or directly the photos of the film, then the developers will know which official source to refer to.
C' mon !
We are all waiting for a Dlc about "The Lost World", with skins of Pteranodon, Mamenchisaurus, new dinosaurs also coming from the book, new larger map of Isla Sorna and new story mode with the hunters of Ingen and their vehicles.
Happy 25th anniversary !

"The Lost World": The InGen Harvest Operation - DLC
It may contain a campaign or chaos theory, centered on the failed attempt to recover the dinosaurs from Isla Sorna.
To provide information to players, it would be nice to use the "talking photos" of the unforgettable characters from the second film.
A bit like for the Biosyn DLC, it could be proposed to use the photos of the "antagonists" InGen:

Peter Ludlow - Financier / Founder

Roland Tembo - Expedition Leader

Dudes , if I don't remember well, also The Lost World's Triceratops, was a little different from JP's Trike.. If someone have materials, pictures or drawings about it , please put it in the topic.
Thank you.
