Just chomping on a bit of cake at the moment (the Cheesy Wotsits are being saved for tomorrow) and this got me thinking; what's your favourite cake?

The winning Cake should be made available in-game to go with the Cup-Holders... Choose wisely commanders... Immersion depends on this! ;)

Nice cuppa tea and a ziggurat of biscuits for me.

Then cake as well, of course. Possibly a cheeky scone too. :p

Agreed, although a classic new york cheesecake (with no topping) comes a close second.

Exactly the same here... it depends on the accompanying beverage though. For a cup of tea, deffo the Vicky Sponge. Probably prefer the cheesecake with a decent (i.e. espresso based) coffee.

Thanks for posting this important thread, too long has it been avoided.

Damn you, Sir! How is this not a multiple choice poll?!?! I want Lemon Drizzle Cake AND Chocolate Cake!

One-Minute Chocolate Cake

(Measurements not too critical)
1 tablespoon plus 2 tsp cocoa powder
3 tablespoons sef raising flour (if plain, add extra pinch of baking powder)
1/8 tsp (small pinch) salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar/granulated sweetener (or 1 stevia packet)
2-3 tsp coconut oil or vegetable oil
3 tablespoons milk of choice
1/2 tsp vanilla extract/essence

Mug cake recipe: Combine dry ingredients and mix very, very well. Add liquid, stir well (will be fairly 'loose' mixture), then transfer to a little dish, ramekin, or even a coffee mug. Microwave 30-60 seconds depending on wattage.

Scoff. Om nom nom...

Well my suggestion seems to be popular.......:p

Well, I think Peter Snow would be excited about the swing towards Jamaican Ginger Cake on this vote.

Its not looking good for Gingerbread cake though.

Well my suggestion seems to be popular.......:p
Lol. Rightly popular :p

Fondly remember my deprived childhood... Jamaica Ginger Cake, with custard for pudding after din-dins.

Heaven. :D

(Considering the nature of the forums, I'm surprised we haven't had more Fruitcakes yet)
