"It was time to stop", said the British musician of 74-year-old , known for his love of whiskey, in an interview with American cultural magazine "Rolling Stone".

"It's been a year now," he said. "I've had enough".

However, he admitted that he had not completely stop. He always consumes “occasionally” a beer or a glass of wine.

If there is one thing I have learned in the last few years.... is that if something is written in the magazine "The Rolling Stone" you can absolutely believe it without any hesitation.

There is some quality journalistic ethics oozing out of that organization on a regular basis.
