The most misleading/pointless message in ED? - "Prospector Limpet Failed"

Collector limpets "expire". Isn't that the same thing?. It would be nice to be able to mute certain types of messages, like switch them on and off in a big menu that has all the common messages.

Was wondering what everyone was going on about. Guess they haven't discovered that menu yet.
 
So your module can (for example) only support two prospectors... You know it can only support two... You have two in use... So you fire another one, knowing full well one of the previous ones will in effect be replaced/usurped, and you get "Prospector Limpet Failed"?

How has anything failed? What can you do to overcome this matter? How is anything not 100% as expected? :)
I totaly agree. I use a single Prospector. I know if I fire another, the first will be deactivated. I don't need to hear any kind of prompt. It didn't fail, it worked, I saw it. Now I'm looking at the analysis from another one and the first is done. It can certainly be cleaned up in the code. But again, it's not really a big deal compared to other things to work on.
