Fellow reprobates I wish to lay two things before you, for comments and ridicule. One is something that has irked me since the dawn of beta and the other is something new, something beautiful that is soon to be snatched away from us and only your (and mine) tears can save it from the filthy jaws of FDev.

1. The new reduced engineers recipes, they simply have to stay. I don't care what craziness you have to make up in galnet DO NOT PUT IT BACK TO WHAT IT WAS!!!!111PENGUIN. I don't know, say there's an emergency on planet earth, the goids are spoiling for a rumble and the collective good will of the engineers are happy to accept a reduced volume of goods or something. I mean how much do you need for sitting on your backside all day drinking tea? Mr Braben feel free to answer that one.

2. For the love of God and all that is good and holy, please, please please when I swap into a different ship, will you leave the ******** thing in the hanger. I don't want to go to the surface and then come back into the hanger to go to outfitting. Seriously FDev, it's a good jape, you broke me but please stop it. I'm not even going to talk about logging in and out to desktop to farm materials, just stop taking me to the surface.

So that's it, I'm ready, you can't hurt me more than the pain I already feel. All my hard work depends on you, you're my only hope!

1. Fdev don't care... Wasted breath. Your only option is to LOVE THE GRIND 😯
2. Just another broken thing in ED. It's riddled with these kinds of things... 🥺

PS... And that is after fdev spent a year fixing some of them...

If Frontier was to let this stick AND fix some things like the nearly non-existent spawn rate of some HGEs etc, etc, etc, I might actually start believing that Frontier was changing for the better! Not holding my breath though.

Inclined to agree with OP.

There are lots of QOL features that are irksome and once encountered the frustration can build.
Sometimes posting a rant on the forums is all the catharsis needed to recover some semblance of sanity, but of course for some unfortunate souls that ship sailed a long, long time ago. :)

There is always hope.

Ever since they introduced material/data traders i've had no worries about materials.

About the hanger thing, it all seems a bit random to me. Sometimes spawning up, sometimes spawning down.

1/ I have re-engineered and few things since the announcement, but to be honest the difference didn’t inspire me to shout . . . wow this is super fast! Therefore don’t care in the slightest ;-)

2/ Yes, it was interesting to watch the amination first, or even second time around. Now it’s just plain annoying.

This might happen this year - it was hinted in the AMA3 that they are not happy with relogging and it's a thing that will be looked upon (maybe with some other engineering related stuff)

I'd prefer it if they just took us back to the days when launching and mousing anywhere before release caused us to uncontrollably smash into the hangar deck and incur a 3m credit repair bill.

Those were the days.
