Also naming a player group in attempts to defame and shame them are against forum rules. Perhaps this thread needs closed?
Just trying to wrap my head around it. Fish has to be a fish, fox has to be a fox, etc.
Mobius could do whatever he wants, strictly enforcing the rules stated is rather important or you get a mess where nobody actually knows what the rules now really are.

As if it really mattered. It's just another cheap shot at an entire sub-community. Some guys are so hard up for targets that they revel in any negative mention of the Mobius groups. Two things really twist the panties of the Pro-Bro types. Combat Logging, and Mobius. They get fixated on a boogie-monster, and can't sleep at night.
If you can't take playing by the rules, stay in open. You'll be in perfect company, with all of the other cheaters.
Thank goodness then that people are totally free in every way not to pay that price by not joining the group.

Hilarious stuff. Guys, dont defend this 'victim', even Mobius himself is unhappy with him. But apparantly to some/many/most/all/150% of mobius users its perfectly okay to use Mobius as a way to insult others and annoy them while being safe from actual game mechanics. So friendly, much cooperation, warm fuzzies everywhere. 
As for the 'attacker', he probably should have just lay there and take it, and then 'report to Mobius' so that dude can spend his free time going through logs of bungholes. Sounds much better indeed than just shooting him in the face.

Did I ever said anything about it? I just put facts The happening and the response(s). Did I said that mobious is bad or not? Naked means NUDE, not interlocutor, and until now i haven't even defamed mobious in any kind nor said that what they did was right...
So I'm not name shaming anything I'm just posting the happening.
OK, I looked at this. I also quickly looked at the rules. My impression is the only way for you to attack the other ship is to be in a Conflict Zone (not HazRez) and both live players have committed to opposite factions. Then you could go for it. Upon reflection I would suggest taking away his kills at the last moment as he did to you. If he fires upon you then just high wake out and report him. Then it seems that he would be banned and you would be OK.

So contact them. Tell them what happened and apologize. Accept whatever temporary ban they might impose and move on. We all make mistakes. Your first one was not reading the rules but then many never bothered to find them or knew that they existed...including many of the responses to your post who also didn't have a clue about the rules.
Mobius is a great place to meet friends but it is not perfect. There will always be those who try to bend the rules pestering someone to attack. Such is life in ED.
