The new confirmed species for JWE2

Today, YouTube personalities are given a new opportunity to play the game for their channels with the blessing from Frontier to showcase them. These playthroughs also provide the opportunity to take a good first look of many species confirmed to be in the game, both from JWE1, like Nigersaurus and Albertosaurus, and first introduced JWE2 in itself!

Edit: All told, Jurassic World Evolution 2 has 19 new dinos not included in the first game, total. 6 land dinosaurs (4 in the launch game, 2 in the Delux pack), 6 flying reptiles (5 in the launch game, 1 in the Delux pack) and 7 marine reptiles (6 in the launch game, 1 in the Delux pack)

And while some of them look really good, the only real question is: what on earth happened to Elasmosaurus?! That's no Elasmo, it's a dragon

Good animals. They're beautiful. My inner Monster Hunter fan really digs the elasmo design. Looks like a proper leviathan.

Funny you mention those in specific. My favourite large theoropod from the first game (now dethroned by qianzhou, but still good) , and my all-time favourite sauropod (pretty, pretty face). I'm glad those two made it back.

You know, I will talk about the returning dinos tomorrow, when BestInSlot showcases them tomorrow as he confirmed in a comment he posted in one of his vids today, Pacific time. I've actually learned now what is and what isn't in this game, but I'm gonna wait until then, as well as bring something else up relating to them: 3D base models, to discuss a hunch that I had and totally saw coming in recent months, with one or two exceptions as well.
