Andromeda had multiplayer, I think.
Yeah, ME3, too. It had quite a decent player base. I played it over 1K hours. I think they just captured it at the time. Gameplay was good at the core. Good feedback on the guns and powers. Decent variety. Very good balance and maintenance for 1.5 years.
They aslo had MP for DA:Inquisition. It wasn't so bad at the core but incredibly grindy. Contained a power creep that made the base game balance pointless. Biggest problem was that powers drew potency from the gear. The better your staff, the better your powers. Nothing you could do about it other than grind.
MEAMP profited from the former glory of its predecessor. Decent core gameplay, but shait balance. I could do the difficultest runs with bit of luck and levelling just by punching enemies to death. While the powers and weapons were wet noodle material. Does get old eventually. It got a bit of attention from old fans and the devs and seemed OK playable after three months, then they canned the whole thing, opened the loot floodgates and basically showed the middle finger to the players. Today it is somewhat playable, but the loot pool is just too diluted to collect decent progress.
It also foreshadowed that the applauded "jet pack iron man mode" isn't so good when playing a shooter. Getting shot from all angles isn't such a good idea.
