The Next Mass Effect

This is very nasty by them.
It is...or at least very disconserting, certainly not unheard of either. Conversely...I've had nothing but good service and fault free operation from my EA/Origin account that I've had for over 10 years...but that's just me.

Update: Around two or three weeks ago I uninstalled/deleted everything ME:E and Origins. EA/Origins did not send me any emails about status of my case for weeks. Yesterday I got an email from their support asking if I needed any more help. I went into EA website and tried to log in and it worked (before it said my account had expired). I looked at my case list and the top one said it was fixed.

Today I installed it again (the Origins launcher and ME:A). Everything worked but I have not played it but a few minutes and only to see if it really worked. I have no confidence this situation will Not happen again. I bought NMS last week and am enjoying it a lot so I'll probably not play ME:A much in the next few days; I have limited gaming time atm. I will give ME:A another try and hopefully EA/Origins won't lock me out again. ... fingers crossed

Good luck mate fingers shouldn't have to be crossed in cases like this. It should just never do things like this without some recourse to solve it quickly

Andromeda had multiplayer, I think.
Yeah, ME3, too. It had quite a decent player base. I played it over 1K hours. I think they just captured it at the time. Gameplay was good at the core. Good feedback on the guns and powers. Decent variety. Very good balance and maintenance for 1.5 years.
They aslo had MP for DA:Inquisition. It wasn't so bad at the core but incredibly grindy. Contained a power creep that made the base game balance pointless. Biggest problem was that powers drew potency from the gear. The better your staff, the better your powers. Nothing you could do about it other than grind.

MEAMP profited from the former glory of its predecessor. Decent core gameplay, but shait balance. I could do the difficultest runs with bit of luck and levelling just by punching enemies to death. While the powers and weapons were wet noodle material. Does get old eventually. It got a bit of attention from old fans and the devs and seemed OK playable after three months, then they canned the whole thing, opened the loot floodgates and basically showed the middle finger to the players. Today it is somewhat playable, but the loot pool is just too diluted to collect decent progress.
It also foreshadowed that the applauded "jet pack iron man mode" isn't so good when playing a shooter. Getting shot from all angles isn't such a good idea.

I've been playing since I was permitted to play again (see above). This type of game, I've never played before and its very entertaining and fun (so far). I'm sure there's better ones but this one is good for me atm.
If I don't get locked out again, I'll probably buy the next release and maybe the new remastered titles. GL HF

ME3 you had to do multiplayer if you wanted to max your forces. I never bothered and still managed to finish the game. There were some tough old missions though, mainl any one with those Banshees - genuinely scary. I never bothered with Andromeda, but I might give this a look.

I started playing through Andromeda a few months ago. Once the smoke cleared and the dust settled it actually ended up being a great game.

The MP was pretty good. Provided the chunk of my 1K+ hour playtime. Crisp action, good variety, decent gunplay, good sound and fun powers. Difficulty was tweaked mainly with AI speed and wave budget. Of course bullet sponge meant that you had a hard time going to solo Gold with a Predator.
I tried soloing Plat but after wave 3 I looked at the watch and had already burned 20mins. That would prolly have been 1.5 hours at least.
