Look I love that now prey can actually escape predators and not be designed for death, but the issue is that literally the only animals that can outrun predators are hadrosaurids, ornithommimids, and Muttaburrasaurus. The rest are too slowly to actually escape predators. Therefore I’m suggesting that some of the non armored herbis get speed buffs so they can, yknow, escape predators. The animals that need buffs are listed below.
Ouranosaurus: Ouranosaurus is actually easy to speed buff without looking weird, because it’s cousin in game Iguanadon is faster, and since both use the same rig I’d imagine it wouldn’t be too difficult to give the speed and animation for iguandon running to Ouranosaurus with very little animation issues (most of their animations are already the same). Also it would be more accurate to make Ouranosaurus flee bipedally.
Dryosaurus: For an animal which is known for being ‘fleet footed’, Dryosaurus is wayyyyy too slow. My suggestion is giving Dryo speeds similar to or equal to the ornithomimmids, tho this will require a brand new running animaton with quicker leg movements.
Pachycpehalosaurids: The pachys would likely also require a brand new animation, and should be buffed to probably Hadrosaur speed.
Nigersaurus and Amargasaurus: Really, just make em stand their ground and fight, atleast Amargasaurus which we know used it’s neck spikes likely as weapons.
Those are me suggestions for buffing non-armored herbis to make hunts less easy for preds, makes no sense for these animals to be slower than their predators if running is their way of dealing with predators.
