Now, that is a postcard you can send home! (If it ever arrives :p)

Fly far even further,
CMDR Jermus Karlsen

Thanks commander Jermus Karlsen.

After checking out the region as far out as I could, I am back to FOOTIE AA-A G0. I will now continue my journey to the next waypoint, The Four Muses (Strivie JG-Y e3) which is about 6500 Ly away.

Well, this was a interesting day today.

First I found a binary Ammonia world
Then I jumped into a system and a class V gas giant scratched almost the paint from my ship. It is just 3 Ls from the main star.

And then I see a blue spot. Which I could not figure out. First I thought it is a nebula. But when I checked the galmap, I found that the blue spot is a neutron star. I could see the blue spot from 140 Ly away. I went there and found a Neustron star with a orbiting class K orbiting a class A. The whole system is bathed in blue light. Why is this system not on the EDSM as a special hot-spot? Like the ‘Lights of Alexendria’, which is my next waypoint. Btw, the NS and the other stars were already tagged. So, someone already was here. Anyways, quiet exciting.

System map.

Most of the objects are untagged. I just tagged one and leave the rest to other explorers who come by. I hate it when some explorers put their mark on every system in a hotspot. Like dogs. Look at the hot spots like Sag A*. Well, this is just me.;)

Nice finds.

I actually noticed that blue same spot last year on my way home from DW, in the tailing Western Expedition.

Unfortunately I crash-landed on a high G planet before I could investigate. Always wondered if I missed the chance of tagging an undiscovered planetary nebula.

That is unfortunate. Well the main NS/K and A is already tagged. Most of the others are not.

Always use 4 pips sys for landing. And never use a keyboard. HOTAS are way better for landing on high G planets. With one of the wheels I can adjust to 1 m/s, which is on alternative controls. I then have to just hold the button to activate alternative controls and slowly decent for landing.

"The whole system is blue. Like a nebula."

It IS a nebula
:D

Yeah, you'r right.

A mini nebula, like a One System Nebula. A remnant from a supernova. Look at this thing, it is just 274 Million years old.

We should give that system a proper name and who ever is responsible for EDSM should add it to the map.

I landed on the first moon of that ringed HMC for the night. Later today i'll continue to the 'Lights of Alexandria'.

Home Sweet Home.

Yesterday evening I arrived after 4 month on my North Western Expedition at my new home, Colonia Dream. I chose Colonia Dream as my new home because one never knows whether Jaques jumps away or not. Although I was a bit disappointed when I wanted to sell my exploration data because you can't do it at Colonia Dream. I know, I could have checked it beforehand but I was just to excited to come home. The expedition went well, although there were times when it was boring. As I said before, exploring is like flying an airplane: 95% boredom, 4% excitement and 1% panic.

I already have planned my next Expedition. After some chilling out I will jump back to the bubble and engineer the hell out of my trusty Anaconda ‘Morgan Le Fay’. Then I will go fully armed to the ‘Rift’.
