The obscurity of our beloved hobby...

Still have my graph paper maps of Pool of Radiance, Curse of the Azure Bonds, Secret of the Silver Blades and Champions of Krynn 'gold box' CRPGs I played on my C64 back in the late '80s and early '90s. :)
Snap. Not three feet from my PC are Pool of Radiance, Dungeon Master, Secret of the Silver Blades, Death Knights of Krynn, Eye of the Beholder and 2 of the Savage Frontier games. And I'm sure their boxes are still full of graph paper.

Honorable mentions for Shadoworlds and Hired Guns.

Thankfully they were no that expensive as I killed quite a lot of them back in the days. Most due to playing tennis on split screen with a friend. The rest I blame the Thargoids for.
But yeah, I'm pretty sure the handle of all my sticks were red. Is this a special edition?
The special edition was transparent blue with a silver stick and buttons and autofire.
It's just two standard versions. I guess depended on fabrication year or something.

Good morning ladies and gents....

After a short night sleep pondering what else for games I wasted my life time on.... eeh... nope... having a nasty cold that does not want to go away being the reason, however with my first coffee I was thinking there were those braindead games that you could really just waste a bit of time on if so required. Horizontal scroller for example:

Good morning, Sir!☕
I was one of the absolultly sick who actually finished R-Type, Turrican, Xenon2 and Katakis without trainers/cheats still proud:cool:

Oh and I just remebered x-out and z-out. The first sidescrollers where you could costimize your ship. Also great stuff.

IIRC I played some "flightsim" called "FA-18 Interceptor" or something like that on the Amiga for the first time. On PC I started with "Top Gun: Fire at Will" (poor Will :( ) and "Eurofighter EF 2000" until I finally found the holy grail with Falcon 4.0

On a funny sidenote, I got nostalgic a couple of years ago and bought Falcon 4.0 cheap for a tenner or something on Amazon (on an actual DVD or CD). Since I don't even own a joystick, let alone HOTAS, it's been shelved ever since. But I'll eventually get there. Promise ;)

Oh my… Can't cope with all the memories

I have another one I played a lot. M1 Tank Platoon. Awesome game.

Also the sound on the Amiga was madness. Soooo awesome.
Xenon II Megablast anyone?

I also fondly remember Speedball 2.
And Popolous, and the successor Power Monger. And another Bullfrog classic Syndicate!

Ah sweet sweet memories...
